Both games were never in doubt. Congrats to GSU for their first ever bowl victory. Next up, ArkSt.

Re: Strong Start Sunbelt
Bowl performance is great but we need strong regular season OOC records to match.

Re: Strong Start Sunbelt
I've seen a better two minute drill offense by a Single A high school team. That was poor from Ark State

God’s gift to college football loses again. I was pulling for conference mates but just couldnt bring myself to pull for stAte. Screw ‘em.

If we take care of business against Toledo, and NM State can win in Arizona, they will be.hotrod2001 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 17, 2017 12:54 amSo much for all that talk about stAte being in a class by themselves...

He's certainly not the leader that Taylor is at QB. I couldn't believe how poorly he performed in that that last series.

They are in a class by themselves. Let me allow Michael Scott to sum it up for us:hotrod2001 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 17, 2017 12:54 amSo much for all that talk about stAte being in a class by themselves...

Re: Strong Start Sunbelt
Another year with no OOC wins over FBS opponents for stAte. Unfortunately this time we’re in the same boat headed into our bowl.
Nice win for GSU. Troy might get some top 25 votes in the final poll.

No he is not. I will say he has a smooth delivery that makes it look effortless when he throws. TL tends to dance around more but results speak for themselves.

The two previous Camellia Bowls had much larger crowds, at least it looked that way.

I think Hanson is more talented overall, but he just simply quit last night on that final drive!

I was going to say that but didn't want to jinx us, lol.AppinVA wrote: ↑Sun Dec 17, 2017 5:24 amIf we take care of business against Toledo, and NM State can win in Arizona, they will be.hotrod2001 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 17, 2017 12:54 amSo much for all that talk about stAte being in a class by themselves...
Speaking of the Aggies, they've apparently sold 6000+ tickets to their bowl game over Utah State selling like...500 or so. So good for them. Sort of wish they were staying, they really wanted to call the SB home and were at least on the right side of the Mason-Dixon line with the rest of the conf.

Would love to see what we could do in a bowl game in the state of NC. Then again, its their first bowl game in 57 years.hotrod2001 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 17, 2017 9:40 pmI was going to say that but didn't want to jinx us, lol.AppinVA wrote: ↑Sun Dec 17, 2017 5:24 amIf we take care of business against Toledo, and NM State can win in Arizona, they will be.hotrod2001 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 17, 2017 12:54 amSo much for all that talk about stAte being in a class by themselves...
