Lead down to 5. Shad misses two FTs. "Ugly" is doing it a favor! Still 15.9 secs on the clock.

Any win over UTA is big in the Belt, but damn this team is frustrating. Almost blew a 27 point lead.

Poor fundamentals down the stretch. Can't inbound the ball and missed 5 free throws with under a minute left, BUT we WIN by 4 and are 2-0 in the BELT!!! First Place baby!!! WHEW...so ugly but a W is a W!!! APPY NEW YEAR!!!!

The most important thing is the win but geez we wilted down the stretch. Shabazz was almost a liability at the end.
Who would have guessed a week ago that we would be 2-0 in the Belt?

All in all we won both Home games this weekend. Messy or not we can’t be too unhappy?

We travel to Louisiana and Monroe next weekend looking for our first road win. The Cajuns are also 2-0 in the Belt and 11-3 overall. Let's see how we respond to this opportunity/challenge.

Williams needs to be the PG when teams start to press. Shabazz and Forrest are good scorers, but have trouble with the press.
Still, to be 2-0 in the Sun Belt is a huge step forward for us. Hopefully we can get the road monkey off our back this week.

Indeed. We at least need to work on the press/find some new strategies. That exposed us and seems to have been a problem in the past as well

No but he shouldn't be handling the ball then. He missed 4 big free throws today.

Shabazz should have a green light the first 37 minutes of every game, then benched. He did the same thing at JMU and cost App the game. Similar thing at Western.
He's a liability at the end of the game, there's no other way to put it.
