2018 FB schedule coming out Tuesday

Great schedule...planning to go to Penn State and UNCC plus all home games, so this means 5 straight back-to-back Saturdays of games! Hope my voice and liver can hang...

I like the Troy game being on the Thanksgiving weekend (rivalry weekend). I see them as our biggest threat in the East and would like to see this develop into a big rivalry worthy of recognition. I know this is usually a date that has low attendance, but if it turns out to be for the eastern title and a shot at the conference championship game than I expect the Rock will be packed.

I can see us getting 20-22k for a championship-determinative Troy game on Thanksgiving weekend, but with the best noise and atmosphere of the season.

The Troy game is a regular season game so all students will get in for free. Now, if we host the SBC Championship on 12/1 the student ticket situation may be in question. I hope we'd find a way to let them all in at no additional costs.

Student tickets for FCS Playoffs were $5 when I was a student, 2005-08. They were free later on.

It wouldn't be a good time to nickel and dime students IMO.

I do wonder how ticketing would be handled for a home championship game. Would it be single-game prices ($40) for everyone or discounted for season-ticket holders?

Students should be free - subsidized by alums and fans paying $50/seat.

Sweet!!! After the game at penn state we have 4 home games starting with unc-c at home!...it will be our newest version of directional kidd brewer...kidd brewer south...cause we will bring more fans...take that to da bank, chuck!

If we must play on a Tuesday night I don't mind it being @ Arkansas State. A Tuesday night should greatly diminish any home field advantage they would have. Would expect a sparse crowd for that one.

Not sure about playing GS on a short week with a new DC. Rest of the schedule is golden. Hope we have enough students come in for Thanksgiving. Plan on being at all 6 home games plus UNCC if I can get tickets.

3 teams with 0 weekday games in conference. Clearly geared to ratings and not fairness. I feel opponent bye weeks and short weeks are fair to favorable for the Apps. GS on long road trip and 5 days for the battle in the boro. No team with more than 2 conference weekday games.

There will be a cat 6 hurricane that hits new orleans and is somehow still a cat 2 when over Jonesboro. They will cancel the game and still try to sue us.

We have a home game the week before. Southern has a cross country flight on a short week.

Almost a month without a home game kind of sucks, but ending the season with three home games will be great.

Love that we don't have any home weeknight games but, the 3 home games in a row will take it's toll on many. Also, the Nov 24th game is the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend, which has historically been a low-attended game, but it's awesome that it'll be against Troy and possibly determine who plays in the championship game so that should help attendance. Overall I like the schedule although I have travel conflicts with the Louisiana game which is a bummer...how close are we to the season starting countdown!! I'm ready!!

Per FBSschedules, USA is the home coming game. I would expect GW to suffer the most. Granted we all know you don't get 3 perfect weather weekends in a row in Boone so that is a factor as well.

Smart move by the administration for designation USA for Homecoming. I agree that GW may be the one that suffers, but being somewhat local, hopefully they bring about a thousand fans. If they have that many.
