Re: UNCC - 6:00pm
have a large group coming. Selfishly hope that if there is any realignment, we end up in the same conference with UNCC for a while.

Re: UNCC - 6:00pm
Our fans bought up all their birthday special packages. Not we’re buying up their season tickets and they can’t even GIVE 100 single game tickets away.

I imagine with it being the 1st home game there will be a lot of green .....until halftime. Praying we shake off any PSU hangover we have quickly.

Re: UNCC - 6:00pm
Someone should try and get some of this guys "free tickets"!
I'm excited to give them their top stadium attendance record with over 80% App State fans.

Re: UNCC - 6:00pm
When did the ticket office finally sell out? They still had tickets at noon on Friday (6/8) when I called trying to get more than the 4 they allow for YC members.

Re: UNCC - 6:00pm
I remembered incorrectly, looks like only reserved seats were mentioned as being sold out.

Re: UNCC - 6:00pm
We haven’t even sold the 2,500 they gave us, may need to tap the breaks on some claims. This is a close to the alumni base game, similar to G-Webb during our FCS days. This isn’t a big game, actually there’s only downside as anything less then a two TD win would be disappointing.
I remember an undermanned fired up CCU team giving us a run in the first half last season - expect a similar first half in this game.

A little disappointing we haven't been able to sell 2,500 tickets to this game yet.Saint3333 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 13, 2018 9:16 amWe haven’t even sold the 2,500 they gave us, may need to tap the breaks on some claims. Re: UNCC - 6:00pm
This is not a "circle it on the calendar way in advance" type of game like Miami or Wake in Boone. We will easily sell the full allotment. That being said, I think Charlotte fans will show up in great than normal numbers so taking the majority will be harder than people think. I think we will wind up with about half and there is a change we get more. I just wouldn't expect some of the numbers some are projecting.

Re: UNCC - 6:00pm
I don’t expect more than half App fans. We are their Super Bowl, after all. However, the realistic breakdown of App/UNCC on 9/8 will embarrass the UNCC faithful, few as they may be.
RE: GA tickets still being available through our office, this is anecdotal, but of all the App fans I know going, (a lot) most of them did the birthday special or otherwise got them through UNCC so we could get as many fans as possible to the game. I’ve heard the same strategy is being employed by many others as well. Reserved seats through the App ticket office sold out in under a week, which may actually be the “2,500 alottment.” But the GAs will sell out for sure.
We will he home field advantage on 9/8.

Re: UNCC - 6:00pm
I can see folks skipping this game or a September home game. Not everyone can carve out four weekends in a row for games that are either close to home or home games in Boone. It's not a problem for me to make the Charlotte, Southern Miss, Gardner Webb, and South Alabama in back to back to back to back weekends because I have no life outside of football once the season arrives. I also have the advantage (in this case) of being a party of one who can be extraordinarily flexible with my football time.
Of course, I plan to be at Penn State as well. Just imagine ... five weekends in a row of App State football. I'm thankful I don't need to pay for lodging except in PA. The other four games will all be down and back (or up and back) extravaganzas.

I just called a minute ago. Our allotment has been sold out, but they have a waiting list.Saint3333 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 13, 2018 9:16 amWe haven’t even sold the 2,500 they gave us, may need to tap the breaks on some claims.
