They could at least use the right helmet. We haven't worn that helmet in years...come to think of it, they didn't even use the right helmet for their own team (they went to just the Axe and C logo)

Yeah, the game is never a "Given" of a W for us. Not until 00:00:00 is on the board at the end of the game. UNCC has nothing to lose and everything to gain from this game. I'd imagine our coaching staff will have the mental focus in place. But, first, and clearly, Penn State. We have everything to gain this weekend.

Battle for US-321? But 321 only routes close to Charlotte and the outher US routes are farther away from one campus or the other.
Battle for the Piedmont or New Mountain Jug is a bit wordy?
Mountain vs Hills? and any ECU game could be Mountain vs Coast to steal the T&F event name.
I think it works for now and if this does not develop into a rivalry, and it will not unless we play at least once every 4 years and that may not happen unless conf realignment occurs, then it will not matter.
To have a rivalry OOC the stakes need to be high and with Charlotte where it is now in football that is not the case so we can meet every year. At least meet once every 4 years so everyone cycles through the game beofre graduation. That is not likley since we only have 4 OOC games a year and having some variety would be nice.
I would love to play ECU and UNCC every year but that works best with in conference play. Maybe some day.
A conference of G5 schools in Va, NC, SC, and Ga would have some great recruiting areas and compelling away games to visit, but I am getting off topic, and going into areas that have been beaten to death.
