Im sick about hearing peoples' opinions on Liberty. The whole "I hate them because they think something is wrong and wont think or act exactly like me" is more annoying than anything Liberty is doing.

If you need or want Liberty's approbation, I pity you.

And this isnt directed at any individual, because I've been reading the same garbage concerning Liberty for over a year.

Since I'm the ONLY ONE who has spoken out about LIBERTY, I guess you are talking about ME!! If you don't want to see what I type, BLOCK ME!! I have an opinion just like YOU and everyone else on this message board.

I'm just saying if we can't find anyone else to play us, I would rather play Liberty and ANY D2 SCHOOL. Change Liberty to any school, but Liberty is just my opinion where someone else might want Coastal or A&T State or NCCU or whoever???

I didnt tell you to stop posting about Liberty, merely that Im sick of hearing about Liberty. I visit many football boards, and no political forums, yet the past year, everytime somebody mentions Liberty people freak, and we get a spiel on how evil they are.

ANYBODY bringing them up because they hate them strictly for what they believe or represent doesnt belong in the App football folder, or AGS, or the SB forum. Sports are an escape from crap of the world, we dont need to drag that stuff in here.

Playing a D2 team accomplishes nothing for us. It does not count for the playoffs and hurt our SOS. I would much rather play a D1 FCS non-scholarship program.

I would like to see 12 games but I can understand 11 as well. I would look at seeing a Big South or MEAC opponent in Boone. I would not expect either of the other two games at home in non-conference to be very appealing. That is just my .02.

Those are my sentiments as well. I would rather just play 11 than play a D2 opponent.

I'm not in favor of having the athletes have to prepare for 12 games and then the play-offs. Pretty soon we could be playing as many as the NFL. However the additional revenue that a twelfth game would generate , even vs a DII at KBS, would be difficult to pass over.

I didnt mean to step on your toes, I had a sudden urge to pre-empt the usual spiel that I was sure would come after it. If you were here around 2pm, you'd know it didnt work anyway. Just another half baked post on my part. I'd give my big toe not to have a 20 pg year long bash session like the SB board had though.

Im less than thrilled with a few of their fans too, but that goes for just about every other team with more than 3 posters too. LU thinks they've bought themselves a seat at the Top 25 table, and potentially FBS, with all the facility investments, and a couple million dollars worth of staff, we'll see. IMO if you hire Wagner to coach your OL after his performance at Western, youre playing with a short deck. I dont even see them scratching 1st place in the Big South at high tide.

With CCU and Montana already on the schedule, I think I'd like to see a patriot league team on the schedule, I dont know if any are available though. Theyre respectable yet beatable.

No I don't see how we play Coastal Carolina, they already have 7 non-conference games on the schedule and will play 5 conference games so No.

The only Big South team left to play is Charleston Southern, unless we play a home and home with Liberty, which I do not see happening.

Thats risky enough as it is, what we need is another CCU type playoff team, but very beatable. Hopefully PL. I thinks its better than one of those FCS "filler" teams, like savannah st, and definately D2, but as sure a win as possible.

I'll be hopeful till its announced. Its going to be an alright year at home. GSU and Chatty, Samford and Western. 3 pretty good games. Georgia, Furman, Wofford, Citadel and Montana away is worriesome. Maybe a D2 is all for the best?

We have an edge over Wofford since we now have their veteran D coach. If App fans would travel to Wofford's little stadium in numbers, we could treat it as a home field of sorts. They would crap a brick if we showed up with 10K.
