Thank you for getting this thread off of musicians and back to top 25 talk. UCF about to take control of EZU and boat race them. Double pass wide open. Pirates can’t move the ball

Hopeful for a rank but not holding my breath. Cinci losing helps, but I can see SDSU, Stanford, or USC taking that vacant spot assuming wins. (Stanford already has theirs, and SDSU is pretty much a lock unless a winless SJSU stops being terrible before that game starts in a couple hours.)

Considering we looked a little flat and the final score was uninspiring (with the late La touchdown) I could see voters taking a wait and see approach until after the GaSo game Thursday.

The game plan looked like it was to shorten the game. Thomas didn't seem to want to come off of his first read. The receivers have had a case of the dropsies the past two weeks.

What happened to the H-back wheel route when the defense stacks the box? Seems App is content trying to block 8 guys using 5 and expecting Evans to make at least 3 guys miss.

This game did nothing to help our argument.

Is it remotely possible that teams in our conference actually recruit, practice and compete in games? I’ve joked along with lots of folks about score predictions but the teams we play actually try to win. We ain’t Alabama

You're right.

And ECU is driving against UCF. A Touchdown would make it a 6 point game in thr 4th quarter.

ECU is absolutely terrible.... UCF has looked flat in more than one game this year., but they continue to find ways to win, with a little help from the teams they play.

We won! These kids are good and time will tell what Louisiana is also. We may see them again. Not a top 25 performance today but other top 25 weren't either. Time will tell what the voters have to say.

Fine. We looked unimpressive. I think the rest of my post stands.

Right now I don't want the ranking to issue extra incentive for The Stink Thursday night AT The Stink.

Either way, GSU will either have extra motivation trying to beat us ranked or be the spoiler from being ranked. At this point it don’t matter, they will give us their best and if the O plays like it today, could be trouble. Beat stink

This -at this point we need style points- gaudy numbers when the votes open the papers on sun. morning. 27-17 does not get that done. for me, im taking the win and heading to the stink

Compare our win against USF 38-30 vs a 1-5 team and SDSU 16-13 win against 0-6 San No Say State. There are some others not impressive as well. In hindsite we had a letdown game but handled it with no doubt. This afternoon will be interesting to see what the rest of the nation thinks. BEAT SOUTHERN!

Make no mistake , I’ll take the win . We could see LaLa again if we win the East. I told a group of their fans that next time we’ll have snow...

Imagine if we beat a 6-1 team on Thursday that we are a lock to be in.

Also think based on this that we will be 25 or 24 in AP poll

And that's the one that puts the # next to your name on the score bug during a game.
