Toldeo vs N Illinois

Who are the announcers for this game on ESPN2?
One of them sounds like Chris Rock. Keep waiting on the pinch line...

Never mind it is Desmond Howard. He sounds a lot like Chris Rock. Not a very exciting game.

Seems like the punter running sideways gives the cover guys longer to get down the field. Don’t like it, but it works sometimes.

Rugby punts are ugly. I always thought the reason for rugby punt was that the punter wasn't getting protection and needed to buy time by scrambling. Maybe that's just my ignorance though. If there is another reason, I'd love t hear it.

Toledo still needs a win to be bowl eligible. Chance we could play NIU at bowl time.

This week I've watch both Buffalo and NIU play. A healthy App team would take either of them, maybe we'll see.

The biggest reason is to not give the return team a chance for a return. Most of those punts end up bouncing or rolling down the field to either end up out of bounds or too difficult to pick up and run.

Basically willing to risk a shorter punt for a much lower chance of a return. Also the ball tends to tumble more and bounce for a longer net punt that what can happen with a classic high hang-time punt.
This is my very generic signature added to each post.
