You’d think the Russian trolls would be busy working on our next election. I’m impressed they have enough capacity to mess with us

Honestly, probably my top pick at the moment. (Personally wanted Ledford). But we'll see.

Re: Josh Gattis
Gattis is very intriguing.... I think bringing him in with a few remaining from current staff would be a nice blend for a few years.....

Butch Jones to Maryland. That is one less Temple connected name out there. Only left are Shiano and Gattis.

Re: Josh Gattis
Just wondering ... could it be that Gattis is a real option at this point? The snow affected the travel up here and now that we are thawing out hopefully the wheels could be in motion? Just wondering of course.
I think we would have to pay him 1 mil. I think we could afford that.

Gattis as HC & bring Woody back as DC. Probably can’t afford that but it’s certainly fun to think about. GO APPS!!

Re: Josh Gattis
I like Ledford personally but what did he do at App that makes you think he would have been "the guy" to go 12-0 in the regular season next year? Reason I ask is because his recruiting classes outside of one year were not good.GregPercussion wrote: ↑Tue Dec 11, 2018 11:40 amHonestly, probably my top pick at the moment. Re: Josh Gattis
maybe less, i found an article that said he was getting $525,000 this year.asu7 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 11, 2018 12:51 pmJust wondering ... could it be that Gattis is a real option at this point? I'm sure hes thinking about the $3.25M that Satterfield just got. Maybe 750-800 for 3-4 years then get that $3M+ job.

This is where we’ve failed as parents. Every male over 35 (the ones who identify as such) can quote every line from Caddyshack. Then, there’s a severe drop off. Sad.

Re: Josh Gattis
The more I read about this guy everyday, the more I feel like he could be a great fit here, I honestly believe he would take this job having ties to the area and probably understanding the tradition App has. He would absolutely use us as a launch pad for a bigger job, but as I referenced in another post, that is probably what we are going to get moving forward. I mean, DG is probably going to be able to use this hire as a launchpad for his next gig too. We should become the Boise of the east, a constant winner. Let’s take it up a notch and get some P5 wins under our belt and keep progressing into the future.HighlandsApp wrote: ↑Tue Dec 11, 2018 6:25 pmhttps://www.collegian.psu.edu/football/ ... 26089.html
Interesting
If it’s Gattis, great, that means he expects to come in and win immediately. If it’s another guy, they better be ready to win, because we will not accept anything less. We don’t need a feel good Alumni hire unless we absolutely know they have a high ceiling.

What's interesting about it? This article is from January 2018.HighlandsApp wrote: ↑Tue Dec 11, 2018 6:25 pmhttps://www.collegian.psu.edu/football/ ... 26089.html
