There is a discussion about this in the ‘19 recruiting thread in the moose lodge.
That is the best place to talk recruits without the general public seeing it

Re: Evan Conley to visit Louisville
Same here.
I'm so shocked because a Mountaineer would never do this to us right? Oh wait, that's right Satterfield IS NOT a Mountaineer anymore.
Seriously, I"m not shocked at this and I expect him to try and flip at least 4-5 of our commits. I would have been very impressed at his character had he stayed away from our commits but Louisville is paying him a lot of money to go after any player, no matter if they are committed to his alma mater or not. Not shocked or mad at him for this. We just have to sell the kids that Satterfield is taking them to a lesser player. Honestly, we are in better position for a NY6 Bowl next year (as long as the new HC isn't in over their head) than Louisville by far. Should not be that hard of a sale.

Yeah, recruiting is something I've just never gotten in to. Mainly because I feel creepy obsessing over what 17 year olds do with their lives lol.
Re: Evan Conley to visit Louisville
Right. We don’t know how Conley will fit what the next guy wants to do. And until he signs a LOI, he’s not “our recruit”. Hell - he probably has a better shot of playing sooner at Louisville with ZT here for 2 more seasons!

We have no coach. A QB needs to know what the hell system will be run. He knows what Louisville will do. It’s what any of us would do.

This was the one I was dreading. Very good prospect. We need to sign a quarterback.

Unless we know who our OC and/or playcaller will be in 2021...the year after ZT leaves, then that question is unanswerable right now.

Not all, but many. I would have signed with ASU in mind, not the coach so to speak.

Re: Evan Conley to visit Louisville
Just remember that our new coach will also come with recruits in mind from his previous gig. There is absolutely nothing scandalous about Scott talking to recruits that he already has a relationship with.
WE ARE YOSEF!

Re: Evan Conley to visit Louisville
I was at the Yosef Club Spring Tour stop in Charlotte and I remember Satt speaking about a recruit that Woody flipped to GT after leaving App. He said “if [Woody] were here I would probably punch him in the face.” He didn’t seem to be joking.
I wonder if he changed his mind now.
