Lol I said this name a week ago and I was met with a “No thanks”. I’m cool with this hire. Done a good job at State and Boise. A little Boise mindset here won’t hurt.

Re: New Head Coach - Eliah Drinkwitz
State fans will appreciate this, they were ready to run him out of Raleigh this year.

If there's one thing I've learned about sports is that State fans usually have no idea what they're talking about.

Of course I didn't watch, well, any of their games. But it sure didn't seem like offense was State's problem this year.

Wow! This is an absolute homerun hire by Gillin. After all the noise and doubts the past week I couldn’t be more happy with this hire. We have the best AD in country folks and a hell of a head coach coming in to lead to the next level!
GO ‘NEERS!!!

Lol it’s not saying much, but win total wise Eli has been at State for two of its most successful seasons in the history of State football.

Is it out of left field? He’s 3 hours down the road, has experience in the state. P5 assistant in the south. Coached at the program we’d love to emulate in Boise. And if i mentioned his name it can’t be that out of left field lol. Close to the vest tho jeez.

Re: New Head Coach - Eliah Drinkwitz
I watched more State football than I'd like to admit the past year as my roommates younger brother was on the team and their offense has had to carry them of recent. With the likes of Finley and Harmon (this year), Samuels and Hines (last season) it's clear that he knows how to get the ball into their play makers hands and puts the team in a position to win football games. With our incredible defense (assuming the system wouldn't change), this could be a very fun era of App State football on the horizon. I'm happy.
