We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

I would gladly take him as DC. I don't blame him for the crap in Arizona. Keim is a real problem who needs to go but the sad thing is that whoever takes his role would likely want their own coach, and they should get that.
Drink has a lot of coaching contacts. I'm sure he will bring some more big names that everyone will recognize.

Thought the same thing but apparently there’s been talk of him going back to the panthers as DC.

You hit on a very important point, recruiting.Plus NFL connections impress recruits.Merry Christmas.Rick83 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 23, 2018 12:07 pmLOVE THIS HIRE! I'll bet Dorsey's got contacts throughout both Florida and Georgia...prime recruiting ground. It feels like Drink's setting the stage for launching us to the next level. The waif for the DC is killing me but it's clear he's doing things exactly the way he said he would...quickly but not rushed. My excitement is growing!!

Re: Coach Drink Staff Thread
1) my comment about wilks was a bit of a joke. I don’t expect or foresee him coming to App in any way.
2) IF wilks did come to App as a DC, it would absolutely be an upgrade to our staff even with him being a “player coming back”. He is a very successful NFL DC and experience head coaching as well.
3) our players that are being retained aren’t being placed at coordinatiors positions. I’m Sure he will get outside people for those positions, but it is good for the players and for the school to keep guys around that have left their blood, sweat and tears on that field. It helps the player buy in to the university even more than just what they would with a coach who has no ties to the university.
I think Drink is doing a great job so far of retaining “App” guys at skilled positions while mixing in more experienced “next level” guys

Why all the drama? Please explain what has given you reason to worry and how the DC decision is going to "ruin this"? Every single decision thus far has been an extra base hit.ComebackShack wrote: ↑Sun Dec 23, 2018 3:22 pmJust hope that Drink doesn’t ruin this with the DC pick. Worried.

Did he mention Roof or all the flight stalkers? With the hiring of Dorsey I wonder if Mr. Conley is experiencing a "just kidding!" moment?
We don't slide at Appalachian State. It's a sign of weakness.
