Can't decide if that's good news or bad news.

If the Panthers are going to keep him, then I hope they at least give him a few chances to catch the ball during the regular season.

If they are going to mostly keep him under wraps, then he might have been better off being cut and getting a chance to go elsewhere.

Guess time will tell.

In the same boat. While I am glad he still has a job I feel it might just be there until they see what happens with Gettis. We know Smitty, LaFell, and Murphy will see game action and P-Lares and Adams will see the field, even if it's only in the return game. Chud's O doesn't use many four or five sets that don't include a TE and a split out RB so AE may up being inactive a bunch. I was hoping he might have a chance to go somewhere he would really see the field. Only time will tell.

Panthers will probably pick up some cut players from other teams, so he is not out of hot water entirely.

If nothing else it's good to rub it in the face of all the haters in Charlotte.

Good to hear. The last I heard about AE is that he was moved to receiver and returned a few punts.

Can anyone update me on how he's done stats wise and what the general "vibe" is for him in Charlotte?

That is good to hear, he is too exciting a player to not be in the NFL
