Hey, on the bright side, being on the doorstep makes it a lot easier to get in. Just gotta beat ETSU Charlotte and Carolina I think would do it. Beating USC would def. do it.

That's assuming we don't take a large drop in next season's preseason rankings. I agree though. Win, win, win, and we're in.hotrod2001 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 08, 2019 2:34 pmHey, on the bright side, being on the doorstep makes it a lot easier to get in. Fundamentally, we need to start consistently beat P5 programs. That's what Bosie State did. To me that's what we lack. I don't think it's fair to feel disrespected until that happens. When I look back on the past three years, that's my only disappointment.

Especially considering how close we were to beating them and should have done so.appgrad95&97 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 08, 2019 2:44 pmFundamentally, we need to start consistently beat P5 programs. Especially TN, and WF.
Penn St could have easily won, but we didn’t make many mistakes to lose like in the other 2

Re: Top 25 ranking?
That's exactly what I have been saying. We have folks who complain and are delusional about us being top 20 but we have not proven that we are yet. We are not a top 25 program until we beat P5s and I don't know...maybe win a games when we become ranked from now on.appgrad95&97 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 08, 2019 2:44 pmFundamentally, we need to start consistently beat P5 programs. Re: Top 25 ranking?
'95 App went 11-0 and was #2 all year behind McNeese in the IAA Poll. Drove me crazy.
Can't believe I'm disappointed in #26 in the AP just a generation later. We have come a long way.
So proud to be a Mountaineer.
