Army promoted their safties coach to DC. Wonder what that means for Woody? Is satt going to create a defensive analyist job for him?

Football scoop is reporting Nate Woody will head to Ann Arbor to be in an off-field role. Can't say I hate it for Elliott and Company.

This whole Nate Woody thing has been odd. Army, Georgia State, now not even a coach at Michigan.

Could be just a stepping stone role. Who knows. Maybe Michigan just needed someone with outstanding 3-4 knowledge to feed analytical data to the DC in a "consulting" role. Maybe Michigan saw a grossly undervalued asset and took advantage. That's the advantage of deep pockets.
