Re: Swinney Strikes Gold
He definitely deserves every penny. Seems like a great guy and his players all love him. He shares his incentive money with his assistants, which is why he usually keeps most of them on his staff. Assuming Saban will retire at some point during Dabo's 10 year contract, I can only imagine the amount they will try to throw Dabo's way to bring him back to Bama.

Re: Swinney Strikes Gold
I surely wouldn't follow Saban if I was Dabo and making that kind of money where I was the HEAT. It would be impossible to survive the pressure at Alabama to live up to who is considered the GOAT./\PP ST/\TE GRAD 09 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 26, 2019 1:20 pmHe definitely deserves every penny. Re: Swinney Strikes Gold
Saban has what, 3-5 years left before retiring? Dabo's new contract is 10. Sets up nicely to have an "interim" between Saban and Swinney....but Dabo's 49 and has said before he doesn't want to coach into his 60's and 70's. He wants to have fun doing it while he's young then get out.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say he will be able to afford retirement in 10 years.APPdiesel wrote: ↑Fri Apr 26, 2019 3:16 pmSaban has what, 3-5 years left before retiring?
