Sounds like he did it on purpose because there's nothing worthwhile going at Pyriteville at the moment. j/kMAD Doctor wrote: ↑Thu Jun 27, 2019 5:44 amMy nephew, an EZU grad, decided it would be cool to get married on September 21 because of the Earth Wind and Fire song (“Do you remember the 21st night of September.....”). I will miss the game as well. Be careful in the bathrooms, those troughs can be splashy. Beautiful Eagle Crick might be more sanitary. The Rock wrote: ↑Thu Jun 27, 2019 8:02 amBeing there in person when App wins will be really hard to replace...MAD Doctor wrote: ↑Thu Jun 27, 2019 5:44 amMy nephew, an EZU grad, decided it would be cool to get married on September 21 because of the Earth Wind and Fire song (“Do you remember the 21st night of September.....”). South Carolina will have at the very, very least a loss to each Alabama and Georgia before they play APP, and very well have only 1 win coming in to the APP game against Charleston Southern-the only 'gimme.' The others are very capable of whipping their ass. Well, maybe not UNC/\PP ST/\TE GRAD 09 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 26, 2019 3:40 pmWhile having a strong opponent record is great, I went with the more realistic approach.JGthatsme86 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 26, 2019 3:22 pmI hope they are undefeated going in to that game, we spank them and then they win out./\PP ST/\TE GRAD 09 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 26, 2019 2:25 pmStrong possibility they are 0-3 leading into App coming to town. Then I hope the same happens with South Carolina.

360 degrees. Hearing Mack is ending practice early so he can make the blue plate special at K&W. Not to save money, it's best place to pick up the ladies. If he can make it back to the retirement home by 4, he can catch the activity bus.Black Saturday wrote: ↑Thu Jun 27, 2019 11:58 amHaven't you heard? I am curious to see what kind of success Bentley can have against UNC's secondary. I will wait for that before I get all giddy about us visiting Chapel Hill.Black Saturday wrote: ↑Thu Jun 27, 2019 12:06 pmSouth Carolina will have at the very, very least a loss to each Alabama and Georgia before they play APP, and very well have only 1 win coming in to the APP game against Charleston Southern-the only 'gimme.' I don't know enough about USC to make that call but I'll trust your judgement. One can hope that the game isn't entertaining for Carolina fans at all and that they are all sent home early. Looks like we can expect 28 to 34 points on offense based on the scoring from NC State in Drink's three years.AtlAppMan wrote: ↑Thu Jun 27, 2019 2:55 pmI can see Zac being at 3 but I don't agree with Jake Bentley ranking that high.ericsaid wrote: ↑Thu Jun 27, 2019 2:41 pmUNC Blog Ranks Opponent QB's and has Thomas at 3B.

I remember how subdued the Pirates fans were. Family weekend at any school, including App, is usually a big draw for parents who want to check in on their students and have a fun fall weekend. I'm sure we'll have plenty of fans there. I'm also sure there will be plenty of Carolina parents and families in attendance.
Go App!
I don’t expect us to outnumber their fans, but if we have less than 10k there I will be shocked. Personally, I’m hoping for 15k.
I have ever since seen those same loud APP fans at UGA, Florida, Tennessee, Penn St...and I know they will be in Chapel Hill. Can't wait!

I was at that game also, we mounted a hell of a 4th quarter comeback. The ones I saw and talked to said App would have won easily if Armanti had been healthy and playing.Overcashed wrote: ↑Thu Jun 27, 2019 4:56 pmI was at that game also, we mounted a hell of a 4th quarter comeback. We got hot the last 20 minutes of the game with the 4 TD drives. Prior to the Penn State game we had not scored more than 21 against a P5 team for a long while.AtlAppMan wrote: ↑Thu Jun 27, 2019 9:47 pmWe put 38 on PSU. Not saying we cannot score points against UNC but let’s not just assume we will. We are rolling out a new offense.

Re: App State UNC sold out in 30 minutes
Not sure how many points to expect from our offense in this one. We can run the ball, we have four guys that can tote the rock effectively 15 times a game. Damn, I am getting excited just typing that. We also have some talented receivers that can get open and a QB that can get them the ball. So, what is Eli's game plan going to be? Wear them down and control the clock with the run game, balanced attack to keep them guessing, or do we spread em out with the passing game to create gaping holes for big runs? Our weakness on defense is on the corner back island and they have some good receivers. But they are going to have an inexperienced QB, possibly a true freshman (freshmore) taking the snaps, so how do they handle the attack up front? Do they run the ball more to help their QB? This could be a low scoring affair just based off the game plans of both offenses. As I said earlier, I am anxious to see what Bentley and his receivers are able to do against the Carolina secondary. They carved up Clemson pretty good last year but with some different pieces to the puzzle.Goapps15 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 28, 2019 6:39 amWe got hot the last 20 minutes of the game with the 4 TD drives. But the past NCSU games don’t really tell us anything either, since, you know, that was a different team’s players who scored those points.
With all that said... I expect UNC’s defense to be vulnerable and think we can score pretty well on them. I also have a feeling we’ll need to.
