Satterville
Louisville more than hanging with ND in 2nd quarter. Tremendous team speed.

Re: Satterville
I hate Louisville and I hated them before Satt. They are a bunch of turds. This is bittersweet. Satt did blow that 2nd qtr clock management just like he would with us haha. It’s funny seeing things from KBS make their way into Louisville’s stadium. Just hate the cards. Not a ND fan either tho. Pulling for the refs in this one.

Re: Satterville
How did he blow the clock management? Because his QB fumbled two plays in a row?asu7 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 02, 2019 9:15 pmI hate Louisville and I hated them before Satt. They are a bunch of turds. Re: Satterville
I’m definitely rooting for Satt. It doesn’t hurt that they’re playing Notre Dame. Ridiculous that Notre Dame gets the respect they get, but that’s beside the point. If Louisville didn’t have the dropsies, this is super close.

Not a fan of that guy for many reasons. Don't care about this, but he sure had put Louisville fans on blast. Also got after their fans for not knowing about intentional grounding after the fans reacted to the ND qb throwing the ball away and hitting a Louisville cheerleader in the face which why the fans reacted the way they did

I love seeing App get some love on prime time air. But, someone please tell Herbie the Georgia State win over Tennessee isn't even close to the greatest upset of all time.appstate77 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 02, 2019 10:16 pmLoved the Michigan remembrance. Re: Satterville
yes the story behind the story that herbie never gets (crowd was reacting to the ball hitting the cheerleader) but herbies always being a blow hard and steam rolling his commentary on everybody.HBTApps wrote: ↑Mon Sep 02, 2019 10:04 pmNot a fan of that guy for many reasons. Re: Satterville
I really think Satt has walked into a great situation. Louisville was so awful last year and their coaching staff so poor, that even a glimmer of hope is a move in the right direction.
I know many think taking over a high performing program is a better, but that means incredible expectations. Satt can win 4 games and double what they did last year. He’s got a much longer leash than most new P5 coaches get. Especially considering it was only a couple years ago that UL was a top 5 program.

Re: Satterville
The crowd was a amazing. It sure looked like more than 55,000 or so that was announced. Too, it was surprising how many ND fans were there evidenced by their applause.

Re: Satterville
Man, I thought the game was exciting. I have to say, that it was great to see our old offense at work. Technically, I thought Louisville did much better than I thought they would from an execution standpoint. Yes they struggled in the second quarter and beyond but they did so much right. You can really see potential there. The fans were great and they will have more to cheer about this season. I thought Bryan Brown’s D made great in-game adjustments and again you can see the makings of a very good defense. This is all much quicker than I thought. I don’t really know how good ND is this year..... but again I thought Louisville would struggle to win 4 games... now maybe just maybe they could get to six this season. Wow very impressive work by Satterfield and his staff and team!
