There were a couple of guys on the State side that felt the need to start an “Eric Church sucks” chant each time Luke Combs was on the screen or played. It was pretty self serving as no one really joined them. You would have thought they would have figured this out over time. I guess that can be counted as a con for selling alcohol at games.

While I don’t disagree, I think if people don’t recognize the person, it won’t be as successful or exciting as someone “famous” either a big time one, or an app local celebrity

I made this suggestion to Doug. The video leading up to the “welcome” should “introduce” the person who will deliver the line. They could use the normal video but sprinkle the person in. If it’s someone the crowd should know just sprinkle in images of that person. For AE or Coach Moore you could just use things like coach being carried off the field at Michigan. For AE I see the dive into the end zone. For lesser know folks you could do a little more. The fans would start to see this and it would actually create a build up to the line being delivered. Whitney Way Thore? My wife enjoys her show, she lives just down in Greensboro, gets back to campus on occasion, and is a reality TV "star" - pretty sure the students would recognize her as well.

They need to do an "App Celebrity of the Week" video...(or at least a graphics slide) to feature the person and play it during warm ups so that people know who it is beforehand. With Coach Moore and Armanti, the name is all that was needed but with some folks, a little more information would be good.
