Have to think Cajuns have a slight edge here. Their defense is clicking on all cylinders right now.

They did the same thing last year before the conference championship game. The majority of the stuff they tried to post never made it to the board.

Wasn’t there some troll from ULL who showed up right before the conference title game last year? Has to be the same guy with a new handle, right?
Yes. As i recall the admins on here banned him too. There is a poster on RaginPagin who was bragging today on getting banned last year today. ManAboutTown. The majority of cajun fans arent so obnoxious.
From my experience, the majority of anyone’s fans aren’t as obnoxious as the ones who make the most noise online.

I’ll be back on Thursday to hear your crying.
Regardless of our defensive woes, I don't see your team outscoring us. Honestly, I think App could score with anyone this year.

Interesting Stats to consider...

That vaunted App St defense allows:
Total Defense - 420 YPG (95th in FBS) *Louisiana #49 in FBS (345 YPG)
Rush Yards per game - 165 (84th in FBS)
Rush Yards per attempt - 4.34 (68th in FBS)
1st Downs allowed per game - (65th in FBS) *LA OFFENSE #3 in FBS with 27 1st Downs Per game
3rd Down Defense (Conversion rate 39%) - (79th in FBS) *Louisiana #20 in FBS (30%)
Red Zone Defense (92% Conversion rate allowed) - (117th in FBS) *Louisiana #51 (80%)
Scoring Defense - 29.0 per game - (81st in FBS) *Louisiana #41 in FBS (21.4 PPG)
TFL Allowed Per Game - 5.5 (56th in FBS) *Louisiana #3 in FBS (3 TFL Per Game)

Time of Possession: LA - 30.3 MPG | App - 27.0 MPG
Scoring Offense: LA - 44.4 PPG (#9 in FBS) | App - 44.8 (#7 in FBS)

App St Schedule:
East Tennessee St
Charlotte
UNC
Coastal

Strength of Schedule: 91st in FBS **Louisiana SOS 70th in FBS**

Geaux Cajuns. Welcome to the Swamp. The playing field you are entering is below sea level. Enter at your own risk.
So, our SOS is negatively impacted because we have to play teams like UL; whereas, UL has to play tougher teams like App State. :P Geaux App!

Do you realize that "first downs" and "time of possession" are subjective stats. Our special teams have been spectacular and we haven't had to have big long drives. When we've needed them, we have had them. Our best player was out for the first two games and we really haven't even needed him yet. Enjoy your "stats" because they won't mean $*** when you meet the black and gold on Wednesday.

Cheers.

Y’all really don’t think Louisiana’s RBs will combine for 250+ on y’all?

They get one decent team and they're running their mouth. If we punch them in the mouth in the first half, their beloved running attack wont help them. Good thing we lead the nation in first and second quarter scoring

Against East Tennessee for the Blind and Charlotte Heights High School. Come on now man. The only good team y’all have played is NC. And almost lost it.
Please enlighten us, at what point did UNC "almost beat us"? I was at the game, must've missed that part.

They went for 140 and 218 last year, so no Boudreaux, I don’t.

App doesn’t break 40 this time.

Louisiana’s backs have gotten much better this season and have a very experienced o-line. I’ll be in attendance and I’m looking foreword to it

That wasn’t a blowout. State only won because of 5 TOs. You guys had to block a FG to beat a lower level ACC team (which is a basketball conference in case you forgot). Don’t act like Mississippi State wouldn’t have beaten App too

ULL will milk the clock the whole game. Which they should try and do, Billy knows the more chances App gets with the ball the lower his odds will be of winning.

If you keep predicting ULL will finally beat App eventually you’ll be correct.

No Boudreaux. We had the lead and they tried a desperation kick to try and tie the game.

It was 35-14 through 50 minutes. The game wasn’t in question. ULL had four turnovers, Miss St had two.

On the flip side App was up two scores with ten minutes to go in the UNC game and played conservative throwing zero passes the last three drives.

Yeah, UNC almost beat clemson, while MS state lost to k state. Haha you'll learn soon enough when you're put back in your place!
