What a weird thing to get your panties twisted over. You literally have "Appy" in your username.
It’s weird to spell someone’s name correctly?
It's more weird to freak out about it on an internet message board.
I'm not really sure where you're seeing a freak out, but none of it seems as weird as you defending misspellings of the names of our players.
I corrected it already...........Mistakes happen.
Come on reckdivor, this is the internet. Serious business!!!

I realize that. Just making a request. It's still wrong by the way.

I can just see it now. Another thread that will go completely off the rails with pages of back and forth insults about misspelling names and then then the subsequent smart ass responses. We really look pathetic sometimes. I wonder if other school message boards devote so much energy in tearing each other down? And we are supposedly all fans of the same university.
I blame it on Ted Roof and the defense getting better.

Doubt it. Duck isn't in the league and Moore is stashed on a practice squad. Duck will be the primary example, since he was fully healthy and chose to leave. I think that will keep everyone on the roster another year.
Duck and Evans are not comparable draft prospects. Yes they are both undersized for their respective positions, but Evans makes up for his lack of height with ELITE speed, acceleration, and vision. He is a game breaking talent that will get looks. I hope he stays an extra year but if he left I would not be surprised.
Evans isn't really undersized anymore. You saw what can happen when he wants to run with power rather than finesse in the game against Louisiana on that final drive. Not to say that the NFL and Louisiana is comparable but if Matt Breida can have an impact in a Shanahan style offense, I feel Evans could as well.

My main concern is Darrynton. Does he take a flyer and work out for scouts as a wide receiver? 4th-6th round?
Fixed it again....sometimes mistake happen twice............

I completely agree, but that is the only thing that Duck and Evans share in common as a prospect. Evans has the toolkit to be a very good player in today's NFL. His speed and abilities as a return man will get him in the door and once he is there I have no doubt that he show all that he can do.

according to the rosters CMC is 5'11" and 205 lbs. Evans is 5'11" and 200 lbs. Unless one or both is way off Evans ain't undersized.

Don't think anyone is freaking out. It's a valid point that we should know the correct spelling of our star players' names, isn't it? We had people (not many thankfully) still talking about "Armani Edwards during his senior year....just doesn't seem right. Their names are in the papers all the time and we have a roster at our finger tips. I don't think we're talking about the occasional slip or typo here.

So, we can spell our players' names any which way, but God help anyone who mis-pronounces "Appalachian." Right?

It was mentioned early in the season that Evans put on weight over the off season. It continues to amaze me that this young man has done all he has and folks still doubt his ability. What else do some of you folks need to see from this young man before you believe? Game after game play after play he gets it done!!!!

Evans isn't an NFL running back. He isn't a receiver unless someone wants to take time to develop him or find a place for his speed.

Our best pro prospect is Gaither-Davis, but he is a senior.
I see Evans carving himself out a role similar to James White for NE. A little bit of a multilayered player who can contribute in the passing game, running game, and return game. He is on the small size, but has speed and hands to be valuable. I wouldn’t compare him to another 3 down back in the NFL, I just don’t think he is built for that type of workhorse role. McCaffrey is a once in a lifetime type of talent and it’s not fair to put Evans next to him.

Akeem will definitely get some long looks from NFL teams, and I think he has some staying power for the NFL. Speed and smarts will help him find a role with a team. Sutton is graduating this year as well, I doubt he would opt out of playing one more year, but he has a lot of the tangibles and intangibles to go to the NFL soon. Henni has been seeing most of the targets, but I love when Corey gets the ball and always has the ability to break a few tackles and gain extra yards. His play consistently stands out to me, even in limited action.
