Just curious, when do they announce where Gameday will be?

So I'm not sure if anyone on this board is well connected with App State athletics, but if you were a possible candidate they'd already know by now.

When UCF hosted GameDay last year, we knew about two weeks out that we were one of three or so in the mix. Because ESPN contacts the finalists to vet potential locations and line up logistics, police, etc. So even before they pick the winner and then finalize all the details, you know you're in contention because all the pre-work has to be done.

So what you’re telling me is the chances are:

I’d say they’re worse than not good. Gameday isn’t passing up the SEC championship (or the other P5 championship games) for the Sun Belt. To suggest that they might is borderline crazy.

Crazy? What would everyone have said our first year FBS sitting at 1-5 if someone had said we would be in the hunt for NY6 our 5th year in? Talk about crazy...Fun ride so far.
