Good call. I knew I was overlooking a few. Obviously Skynyrd is a great band, but the only album I’d put on a “complete” list would be Pronounced “lehnard Skinnerd”. But it is still probably in tier 2. Saying something is a great album goes beyond just having a couple of great songs by a great band. I love Allman Brothers, but I wouldn’t rank any of their albums in my greatest list. I could compile an album full of songs from bands like STP, Allman, Skynyrd, Eagles that would be great, but that’s not what we are doing here..... well, I don’t know what we are doing here anyway.Mjohn1988 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2019 11:44 amHow am I supposed to take this seriously? Re: Rumors
Completely agree on eggs - for a "stand alone" egg, it has to be extra runny. Especially if I have hashbrowns or something like that to soak up the yolk.appstatealum wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2019 11:51 amYep. I save the over easy for a plated meal, like a pork chop or steak so I can soak up the yolk with pieces of meat.BeauFoster wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2019 11:37 amOver medium to medium hard, otherwise the yoke soaks the bread and makes it all soggy. For this sandwich, I prefer good old original yellow mustard. This is a workin mans sandwich. No time for fancies.NattyBumppo'sRevenge wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2019 10:09 amEgg over easy or hard? And what kind of mustard? Yellow is probably the best fit with bologna, but would a horseradish mustard be a good compliment?BeauFoster wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2019 9:11 amFry up a thick slab of bologna and an egg, put it on some toast with mustard, slice it diagonally - I'd eat it every day if it wouldn't kill me in a month.
Using a little honey Dijon from time to time adds a little sweetness to compliment the salty fried bologna flavor.
Also I just noticed that my phone autocorrected yolk to yoke in my original post. What an idiot I am, trying to harness oxen with a sandwich.

All this bologna talk made me hungry so I went downstairs to the old soda fountain and got me a bologna sammich. It's hitting the spot and Diet Mountain Dew is washing it down!
I just come for what peace I can find | The spirit ever lingers in a song | And the mountain's gonna sing this song for me |Rock me off to sleep

Why don’t y’all make your own thread titled Miscellaneous where you can talk about your music, your food, and whatever else? You can go there anytime you have 0 to offer. Y’all turn so many threads into the same crap.

Re: Rumors
I never said it was a complete list. I'd add "Pronounced Leh-nerd Skeh-nerd" (or however it's spelled phonetically on the cover) to a list of front-to-back solid rock albums. While we're at it, I'll add that I think The Doors suck. I never got the appeal.NattyBumppo'sRevenge wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2019 11:53 amHe said "great" rock albumsMjohn1988 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2019 11:44 amHow am I supposed to take this seriously? Re: Rumors
I'd put "Eat a Peach" on my list of great albums. I agree that there are a lot of very, very good bands that don't have a single great album. Eagles, Steve Miller Band, Journey, The Who, *whispers* The Beatles all have more than enough great songs to make a great album or 3, but those songs aren't on one album. Hot Take: I think The Beatles are one of the greatest bands of all time, but they don't have a single album that doesn't include a filler track or two. BUT THAT'S JUST MY OPINION!!Mjohn1988 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2019 1:00 pmI’ll beg you to consider these:appstatealum wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2019 11:56 amGood call. I knew I was overlooking a few. Also, I think The Wall by Pink Floyd should be included in the first tier as well as The Who's Who's Next. 2nd tier mention for me would be Red Hot Chili Peppers Blood Sugar Sex Magic.
