We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

We need to continue to raise the buyout....1.7 is Drink’s buyout ...salary was around 900 with incentives

we keep posting 12-1 type years could actually make money on the head coaching position 😂

Yeah IMO no way he is staying here with offers from Mizzou and Arkansas
No one knows if Drink has offers yet. I'm surprised to hear so little on Napier, honestly. With the state of the Arkansas program, I figured he would be a better fit.
Is the Furman job open?
Should be after losing 41-10 to Austin Peay

If he is going to go, that's fine but can this hurry up and be done. We have a bowl game to win and recruits to sign. If drink is here, awesome, if not App State football will continue to March forward.

Yup. He is Arkansas plan D. And has been.

Plan C is Harsin. If Harsin says no, then Drink is ready but has a large list of demands/requests. To help leverage that, he's interviewed with Mizzou as well.

Arkansas AD has a tough decision to make. Agree to Drinks requests for their plan D and a coach with only 1 year experience with another coach's players? Or pass on him for someone like Butch Davis.

I have no idea if Drink will take the Arkansas job if offered. He could just be leveraging all of this to get more from us.

We just have to let it play out.

I seriously want to take an ad out that says:” More value for your support”
UNC spent 20 million defending academic fraud. That is 6 years donations to the Yosef Club and we are ranked.

No guarantee we repeat this success next year and are most certainly looking for a complete re-load in 2021. NC State may turn things around, so why hang out and wait for that to happen. Take it young man and Godspeed. Next man up!!!

However, we are becoming the Boise State of the East with a realistic shot at a Conf Championship and Bowl appearances every year. We have the potential to build a BRAND that could keep us in the TOP 25 every year. So, if money is not a primary motivation just stay here and WIN...WIN...WIN.

Maybe Napier will take that, so he won't lose to us anymore.

And if he fails, which is likely for any coach either school hires, you've made money while killing future aspirations.

It is what it is. Money talks. I've bet on myself, to a much lesser extent, waiting out temporarily more money and that was leveraged into exactly what I wanted.

Butch Davis would be a great fit for the Hogs.

I will never fault a coach for leaving us for that big time paycheck. That kind of money is life changing. Once you have made it to that level you will almost always have job offers even after you get fired. It is a brotherhood that just recycles.
The main thing DG must do is to continue to use our success to raise funds and create top notch facilities and support systems for recruits to see regardless of who our coach is. We have regional name recognition now. There are NC, SC, TN, and VA kids who want to come play for App regardless, and that's what matters. That is the trend DG has to keep going. The battle of coaches will come and go. School culture, facilities, tradition, and recognition are what win the long term wars.

I agree, but don't forget the Ga and FLA kids.
