Suggestion—sign up for the Alumni Pregame shindig. It’s in the Club of the Super Dome. It’s pricey but worth it. Last year over 600 Apps attended.
And the tailgating area outside the dome isn’t great at all.

Agreed re: the alumni tailgate. It’s worth the spend and the food and all you can drink were not to bad either. If you have the time and can afford the meal, Brennan’s is a MUST DO for Breakfast/Lunch on Royal St. Have to get reservation now though as they book fast.

I personally can’t go due to other obligations, but I’ve donated two tickets to Student Yosef Club members who will be attended. The students did an amazing job packing the Rock all year, let’s get as many down there as possible!

I will be glad to do this as I am unable to go. What do I need to do to make a contribution?

Two of us flying down Wednesday, early dinner at Willie Mae's Scotch House for their world famous fried chicken, then over to Frenchman Street for some local jazz. Thursday and Friday staying out on the lake. Saturday heading towards the Superdome area. Tis great to be a MOUNTAINEER!

That seems high. Don’t remember exactly but I feel like it was only around $50-$60 last year. Tons of great food and open bar. Definitely worth the price.

I've only been to one bowl game, the Camellia bowl (Apps first), and did the Alumni tailgate (it was $50) and was great. I figured this $99 pre-game event would be similar...anyway, if I can swing it I'll definitely go to the App sponsored pre-game event

I haven't seen one for this year's bowl advertised yet but last year's event cost $45 and included all-you-can drink beer/wine and lasted 3 hours so a jump to $99 a head would be substantial.

I haven't seen one for this year's bowl advertised yet but last year's event cost $45 and included all-you-can drink beer/wine and lasted 3 hours so a jump to $99 a head would be substantial.

The Alumni Tailgate plans have not been finalized. Those plans will be finalized and communicated as soon as possible.

The $99 deal is through the travel folks and includes a bus ride to and from the game. Stay tuned for the real alumni tailgate info.

I thought last years was very well done. It was in the super dome all you can eat and drink. Very Impressive walking up to the super dome might I add.

Thanks for the clarification...yes, I did the alumni assoc. tailgate for the first Camellia bowl and it was more that worth the price (I believe it was $50)...I will wait for those detail. Still not sure I will be going yet, airfare out of Greensboro/Raleigh/Charlotte is a bit pricey.

No, she didn't make the game. Most likely it was Zac's mother or aunt.
