Re: Independence Bowl
Did everyone notice when Pitt made a great play and several players celebrated in the endzone like we did in our bowl the game. The refs slapped every player with an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty meaning if any of them get another such penalty they would be out of the game. I love that. It's a team sport and I would love to keep the Pro-show boating out of it. That is the reason I prefer college over the pro's now a days. Play with class boys.

I did not even think about him to pay attention. How did he do? I was not impressed with their offense at all.Apple@chin1 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 26, 2019 8:18 pmMaybe Zion wants to transfer back to where he should’ve been as a freshman!

Re: Independence Bowl
I didn’t watch the game, but I would have guessed the penalty was due to the Pitt players interfering with a game between Miami and Louisiana Tech.Yosef77 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 26, 2019 10:51 pmDid everyone notice when Pitt made a great play and several players celebrated in the endzone like we did in our bowl the game. Back in my day, players celebrated The Right Way: by handing the ball to the ref and walking back to the sideline alone with a look of grim determination on their faces.ericsaid wrote: ↑Fri Dec 27, 2019 10:01 amDid they kill your grass while celebrating?Yosef77 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 26, 2019 10:51 pmDid everyone notice when Pitt made a great play and several players celebrated in the endzone like we did in our bowl the game. Re: Independence Bowl
Being born in the 90's, I saw the proliferation of the celebration. I was at the "Row Boat" game where Smith ran all over Smoot. I was a big fan of Moss (because I played receiver) and wore 84; his celebrations were obvious.EastHallApp wrote: ↑Fri Dec 27, 2019 10:08 amBack in my day, players celebrated The Right Way: by handing the ball to the ref and walking back to the sideline alone with a look of grim determination on their faces.ericsaid wrote: ↑Fri Dec 27, 2019 10:01 amDid they kill your grass while celebrating?Yosef77 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 26, 2019 10:51 pmDid everyone notice when Pitt made a great play and several players celebrated in the endzone like we did in our bowl the game. And how can we forget 2016 where FTC with John Law and Marcus Cox was the thing?
Come on son.
Now seriously, get off my lawn. Just seeded everything.

According to his bio on the Miami website, he started each game this year.AppStFan1 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 27, 2019 1:00 amI did not even think about him to pay attention. How did he do? Re: Independence Bowl
Come on you’ve got to love it when a team is losing by 40 and a guy on that squad makes a tackle, gets up thumping his chest and celebrates like he just won the Super Bowl.EastHallApp wrote: ↑Fri Dec 27, 2019 10:08 amBack in my day, players celebrated The Right Way: by handing the ball to the ref and walking back to the sideline alone with a look of grim determination on their faces.ericsaid wrote: ↑Fri Dec 27, 2019 10:01 amDid they kill your grass while celebrating?Yosef77 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 26, 2019 10:51 pmDid everyone notice when Pitt made a great play and several players celebrated in the endzone like we did in our bowl the game. Re: Independence Bowl
I remember seeing him start the first game this year. Glad to see he had a good year. I knew Miami was awful and in terms of playing time he made a good choice because he would have probably redshirted at App.lillycafe wrote: ↑Fri Dec 27, 2019 10:44 amAccording to his bio on the Miami website, he started each game this year.AppStFan1 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 27, 2019 1:00 amI did not even think about him to pay attention.
