What was his concern with Kent?
Long story short, Mcelwain threw Kent under the bus at Florida.

It’s a very “layered story”, but AppStateNews is all over it. And to answer the question above, it definitely wasn’t about money.

Seems positive he managed the budget and nutrition program as well at previous stops. Id assume that is regular with a head of S&C, but i dont know...

Comes to us from the Redskins as a DB coach. Was the DC at Valdosta State before that.

Pretty solid pedigree right there...Valdosta is historically a good program. The Redskins, not so much, but anything within the League is pretty decent.

Pretty solid pedigree right there...Valdosta is historically a good program. The Redskins, not so much, but anything within the League is pretty decent.

I like to see career progression and he's young but seems to have climbed the ladder with promotions and bigger jobs. That's a good sign. I like his NFL coaching experience too, we might be able to lure recruits with that kind of background.

And he hails from Florida. That's been a fertile recruiting ground for us. He should be able to keep it up.

Definitely a lot of spots to fill on the defensive side of the ball. Hopefully Gas (if he stays), and Jones if he indeed comes back, will provide the continuity they need and if Clark brings in some good new defensive guys we will be ok.
Riley may or may not actually be on staff, and I'm starting to wonder about Washington, You would think the current staff would be announced soon if not already if they were staying.

Jones is coming back. He just hasn’t signed his contract yet. The new guy is pretty much a lock to fill the CB position. He has 3-4 experience and will be a valuable assett to the group.

I REALLY hope this isn’t true. Gasparato is legit, an absolute rising star. IMO, should have been named DC, at the very least Co-DC. This would be a big blow. GO APPS!!
