Nunn was the Head Coach when Dale Jones was DC at GMC in the early 90s. It would certainly be a major get.

Nunn is from the small OK town of Apache...<1,500 in population. Boone will be a metropolis. Looks as if he was graduating from OK State about the time Jim Garner (former App State AD) was named AD for the Stillwater Cowboys. Nunn served as team captain for a couple of Big 8/Big 12 championship teams. Since his graduation, Nunn has been a journeyman college and NFL coach from Green Bay to Miami and a lot of places in between. While on that journey, he did (as reported in another post) add a Super Bowl ring to his jewelry box.

Maybe he's ready to settle down now at about age 55.

Maybe with that much time on the NFL he earned his big paydays and don’t need to go chasing big money like others do. If he likes Boone and wants to stay around football, maybe we can actually keep him a while. And If Jones Wants to retire in a couple years, a good DC in waiting. Obviously that’s getting ahead a good ways, but sounds promising at least
