Re: Spring Practice
Here's an off-the-wall comment. I'm not sure if the cap that Coach wears is gray or faded. I assumed it is faded. Regardless, I love the fact that we have a coach who has been around App long enough to OWN a faded App State cap!

Re: Spring Practice
I believe the term for that discoloration is "sun bleached", and you're right it's awesome to have a coach who has been around long enough to have one!

Re: Spring Practice
Yes, I stand corrected on the terminology! My first Nike cap featuring the block A was my game day cap for years. By the time I retired it, the sun had definitely done a job on it!

Re: Spring Practice
I've been particularly interested in hearing how Coach Nunn goes about his business. If that is an accurate depiction of his coaching style what a pick up! Seems to be a real teacher of technique. The amount of knowledge from the next level he can pass on to these guys could prove invaluable for them.

He may end up being the best of the bunch in terms of good hires.NavyApp wrote: ↑Thu Mar 05, 2020 8:23 pmI've been particularly interested in hearing how Coach Nunn goes about his business. Re: Spring Practice
I really like the balance of personalities among the coaching staff. Coach Clark was very deliberate about this hiring process, and we really won't know how it all pans out until the games start but right now I really like the composition of the staff.AppSt94 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 05, 2020 8:24 pmHe may end up being the best of the bunch in terms of good hires.NavyApp wrote: ↑Thu Mar 05, 2020 8:23 pmI've been particularly interested in hearing how Coach Nunn goes about his business. Re: Spring Practice
Maybe I just haven’t seen it, but not sure I have ever seen a position coach as thorough in breaking down techniques and teaching them in such detail. Can’t wait to see our DLine wreaking havoc next year

Re: Spring Practice
Love seeing this, that indoor facility is great and it has its place but it made us a little too soft over the last few years. Clark saw that and is addressing the issue.

Re: Spring Practice
I doubt this is the first time we've ever practiced in the weather since that facility was built. Not sure I agree that the indoor facility has made us soft or that practicing In the weather only a handful of times makes that much difference.
