We don't play them again until 2026 so none of these guys either team is signing will even be on the field that day.
I'd bet, with everything going on in the world (& possible re-alignment), we will see them before 2026. I can certainly see the Wyoming game going away in 2023. In fact, I'd put money on that one changing. Of course, that doesn't mean it becomes Charlotte but they could be on the short list if it works for them. Currently, Charlotte has a home opening in 2023...
I could see that for sure. I would love to get a team like UVA or Vanderbilt on the schedule but I doubt those ADs are dumb enough to risk that game.
I doubt it, but I'd wager that we would see UVA football in Boone before we'd see the basketball team make a visit.
I could see both happen eventually but I would not do it if I were them. I am surprised that UNC and South Carolina would even entertain it but after Miami did so I think anything could happen. Who knows. Maybe in 2040 we will host Alabama or we could be back in FCS and hoping to beat Elon or Gardner-Webb. You just never know. I doubt either happens but never say never. lol
At least if the latter happens, we will be playing all our games on Saturdays, and we will pick up one season ticket holder.

We would probably lose about 1,000 of them though. lol

UNC-CH is getting a ton of love from our buddy at the Greensboro paper. Huge article today about the great recruiting class UNC-CH football has and they had another article last week. Of course what matters is the play on the ground and not recruiting stars.

I'd much rather see that too. But I can see why both AD's would see it as a win and very do-able with the proximity and convenience for alums.

I'd say this one deserves it's own post. This is pretty big for the program in terms of continuing being on the talking heads minds.

Have at it! I agree it’s awesome news. I’m actually getting used to seeing us in these things and I have to remind myself how far we’ve come in a short time.

Very true! I get to the point where I scroll down slowly and see how many teams may be above us and the level of 'upset' I will be if App isn't included...haha!

I don't think anyone needs to feel entitled or anything by that thought process because we should be mentioned if the list is accurate. I will honestly feel like we are being slighted a little if we aren't in at least one CFB Preview Magazine Top 25 or listed 26-30 range.
