Our fellow SB school getting a 28 million upgrade set to open in 2015. It never stops.
Rendering of the end zone facility which is very nice.

Here's an honest question, RankinApp. What does Troy State University's facility improvements, expansions, etc, have to do with ASU's athletic program?

It is posted in the Other Schools' Athletics folder so it doesn't have to have anything to do with ASU.

I see. So if they ever wanted to explore the possibility of adding seats to that endzone, they can't now.
It looks nice though.

My 2 cents. We will be competing with them on the field and the recruiting trail. Keeping up with enhancements made by the competition has a lot to do with ASU's athletic program.

We used Wake's design on the athletic tower why not use UNC-CH's for the north endzone seating, minus the blue of course.

man, I love the fact that our new conference, actually has teams willing to spend money and and try to improve their football programs, love the design, looks first class, maybe we should hire their design agency.

Umm...they're in the Sun Belt...the conference we will be in next year. Ring a bell?

I hope that seeing all the upgrades that have been made or are being made by our conference mates will light a fire under the App administration to get a concrete plan in place for stadium expansion. KBS was the best football stadium in the SoCon by a fairly significant margin. In the Sun Belt, it falls somewhere in the middle and we need to step it up. Expanded to 30K-35K the right way with track relocation would put it right at the top.

Good looking facility, but what's with the tiny water tower on the roof?

I would prefer something similar to what Southern Miss built in our north end zone. It seats 4,000 and has 33 suites in two levels above the seats. I'd say we could go with another club level instead of the suites since we have a waiting list for club level seating.

Agree, although I'd want more seating with a level of club seating and suites above similar to the west side seating - (Maybe 6-8k, since we only seat 21k w/o the temp stands).
