It is in Purchase, New York. Wife works for Tropicana, who is owned by Pepsi.

Re: NEZ work today
I guess no one calls it a “soda dope” anymore. In the old days we walked to the store to get a “dope” and a pack of nabs -usually a pack of Lance crackers. The story was that there was a small amount of cocaine in “Coke”. No such thing in Pepsi. Also Pepsi did begin in N.C., Coke is a...ugh... a Georgia thing. Same thing with Lowe’s vs Home Depot.

I can't say that I've ever heard anyone call it "dope." I do remember calling all soft drinks "Coke" growing up....like it was the generic name for soft drinks. I do know what nabs are though, and I still call them that.pop5app wrote: ↑Mon Jul 06, 2020 7:16 amI guess no one calls it a “soda dope” anymore. In the beginning days of sodas, I seem to recall hearing they had cocaine and baking soda. That was before that cocaine was widely known to be addicting.

I guess that is why "Coc-a" Cola never releases its secret formula and in a vault in ATL.
. Whatever is in it.. highly preferred to a Pepsi. An open Pepsi goes flat quickly. I grew up on the coast. Yes, New Bern loves it's Pepsi.

the guy that invented Pepsi was born in Chinquapin NC. I like to think I'm the second most famous person in the world from Chinquapin. That title doesn't come with any prizes however.

Are those two guys ever going to get that orange lift (on left side of picture) working? They have been at it for 2-3 days. Seem to be stuck up in air right now.

Sun Drop is so good, but are you old enough to remember the glass bottles of Sun Drop with bit of fruit pulp in the bottom?Woodstovegang wrote: ↑Sun Jul 05, 2020 8:23 pmBy history we should support Mountain Dew. But, I prefer sundrop.
We don't slide at Appalachian State. It's a sign of weakness.
