App St vs #2 UNC

Figured I would go ahead as get this one started. This game could be a big confidence booster for the team if they have a good showing. Even bigger if they pull the upset.

I assume that Springs will get the start.

Looks like UNC has dropped to #4 after a 2 loss weekend to GT. I noticed over the weekend that this game might be on GoASU since out was on the video schedule

This would be huge. I hope that our bats stay hot and our pitch-by-committee will be able to hold them off. They're a solid team. I don't want to get my hopes up, but after this weekend's success if we could get tonight and win this weekend's series, we would be feeling pretty good going into the SoCon.

I don't think they ever really post the away game live feeds except once you log in. That might be part of the agreement, the away team can carry the feed, but don't advertise it too much so the home team might get a few paid subs for the game. Speculation on my part on that, but plausible I think.

I was listening to DJ and Dad. What did they have to say that was so bad? Were they complaining that we didn't go up there and take our beating like a good little brother?

not making excuses, but tough to play in Washington State over the weekend, then travel to the number 4 team in country, team had to be tired. Positive side pitching was great, basically shut down one of the best hitting teams in country. Negative, the tarheel play by play team, very arrogent, acted very surprised whenever App got any runners on base, and pretty much acted like we were lucky to be on the same field as the Heels, spent the entire 6th inning making excuses why they lost over the weekend to GT, and trying to convience themselves and anyone listening how great the heels are, couldnt take listening to them anymore, had to mute them.

They basically came across as a couple of a-holes. Moaning about balls and strikes and talking about how pitchers from the so called "mid-major" conferences start running out of gas after a few innings.

Good showing by the black and gold nation tonight. UNC people told me it was one of the highest attended mid-week games all year.

Props to the AppState heckler who kept calling the fat 1st base umpire "buffet". Kept me rolling all night.
