Just curious and probably over-analyzing the HC presser comments. When the KO return discussion came up, HC seemed to give all credit to blocking and not so much to Virgil. Seems in past pressers if player discussed 12, 5, 6, 20...HC first discussed what a credit to program and then discuss play. Really nothing for 11 when discussing it other than mentioning his speed. Just curious if any issues between HC and 11.

I don’t know about any of that but Virgil was the game changer , the player of the game.

I agree completely. He masked a pretty anemic offensive showing. Besides the run back for TD, the catch was incredible.

Both his TD catch and his drive sustaining catch were great catches. This was the kind of break out game I've been waiting to see from Virgil. I couldn't be happier for that young man!Tbatchelor1977 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 13, 2020 10:57 amI agree completely. He masked a pretty anemic offensive showing. Check out AppStateSports.com football page. There is a pic of Coach Clark with Virgil. Sure doesn't look like there's any beef there to me. It looks like a proud coach engaging his player.Tbatchelor1977 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 13, 2020 8:59 amJust curious and probably over-analyzing the HC presser comments. I think it's important to remember that these press conference responses aren't prepared. Sometimes there is a tendency to focus on those aspects that aren't obvious and stating the obvious gets missed.

Virgil finished strong
I bet he is the healthiest he has been all year
He showed what the coaches and players saw in him

I am pretty sure Zac said "Fuck you" to some of the Eaglets after the game at the logo at center field. I have no problem with that.
Pierre mentioned a few times the less than sportsmanlike play by GaSo and the sideline reporter mentioned the camera operators showing some footage of the extra-curricular activities by the Eaglets that was never called by the officials. Some of that talk is Pierre being a homer, and he certainly was this game but the camera operator comments is another thing entirely.

How long after the game was the plunger ploy play-out at Paulson performed post-game? Pierre postulated players praying pretty nearly immediately post-game. Poster curious period to plunger then.

That play when Zac was on the ground with a guy around his legs and another player decided it was fine to push him over really had me hot, especially when there was no flag. Why is it every time we play them it feels like Lunsford hired the refs?McLeansvilleAppFan wrote: ↑Sun Dec 13, 2020 4:13 pmI am pretty sure Zac said "Fuck you" to some of the Eaglets after the game at the logo at center field. Big rivalries bring out the worst in players and sometimes coaches. Glad it was more them than us.

Perhaps he has some input into the selection. Maybe, maybe not.NavyApp wrote: ↑Sun Dec 13, 2020 4:18 pmThat play when Zac was on the ground with a guy around his legs and another player decided it was fine to push him over really had me hot, especially when there was no flag. Re: App at Ga Southern Game Day Thread Dec 12 2020
Was it plunger then prayer or plunger AND prayer at the same time and some of the players not praying? I thought the prayer was at the 50 and the plunger certainly was at the 50 so the prayer was after the plunger or off to the side.NavyApp wrote: ↑Sun Dec 13, 2020 4:19 pmIt was instantaneousMcLeansvilleAppFan wrote: ↑Sun Dec 13, 2020 4:17 pmHow long after the game was the plunger ploy play-out at Paulson performed post-game? One thing to note about this rivalry is how much the former players comment on this game each year compared to any other. They know what goes on between the lines.

The only prayer I saw from our guys was pregame and GaSo was turding it trying to start a scuffle before the game. Immediately after the game plunger was planted mid field and was followed by a few moments of chaos.McLeansvilleAppFan wrote: ↑Sun Dec 13, 2020 5:05 pmWas it plunger then prayer or plunger AND prayer at the same time and some of the players not praying? Re: App at Ga Southern Game Day Thread Dec 12 2020
Most players pray before the game in the end zone on our sideline. Some pray on the sideline. Georgia came into the end zone to confront our guys praying. Some mild altercations occurred. Then at the end of the game, the plunger was used in center field and another altercation happened. That settled down quickly as well and then the players prayed midfield. I would say only a few players don't pray afterwards.NavyApp wrote: ↑Sun Dec 13, 2020 5:32 pmThe only prayer I saw from our guys was pregame and GaSo was turding it trying to start a scuffle before the game. At the end of the day, GS is a poverty, trash program. Their coach condones their thuggish, garbage behavior.
They ride school buses and spray the team with alcohol and their coach body slams metal chairs.
They are a low-class program and I have no issues with any of the trash talking and I think the plunger was golden.

Re: App at Ga Southern Game Day Thread Dec 12 2020
The radio call mentioned a prayer post game and in fact did not mention the plunger, or at least did not mention the plunger at the moment. I don't think it was mentioned at all. In fact Pierre or Adam mentioned the handshakes post game as a sign of respect between the teams.NavyApp wrote: ↑Sun Dec 13, 2020 5:32 pmThe only prayer I saw from our guys was pregame and GaSo was turding it trying to start a scuffle before the game.
