55-21 and one poster said we’re not very good.
We are not very good. Beating this team was like the basketball team beating Carver. What’s more we looked bad beating a bad team badly.

We ended up winning in a route. We won our last game and we have NEVER lost a bowl game. I admit I commented that the coaches are not very good. That was harsh. It’s been an absolutely shitty year and I can only imagine what the staff has had to deal with. We act like if we don’t have full access to everything we can offer up half ass opinions of how plays should be called and who should be fired. I’m disappointed with the losses but I’m happy as hell with the last 2 games. Let’s just hope and pray that we get our world back soon.

No doubt this was a far cry from last year but we finished 9-3 on the season with our three losses to teams with a combined loss total of 3, all three of which spent time in the top 25, two finished in the top 20. Unlike in years past, we weren't able to finish the games against both UL and Coastal when we had the chance. So, yes, there are reasons to moan about this year but in the end we finished the year beating GS, winning our 6th straight bowl, and in the process had a record performance from our sophomore running back. Let's go into the holiday season grateful that we are Mountaineers!

The coaches and players had to put up with a lot of crap to get this season in and they never quit. Hopefully next season will be more normalized and players can get on a regular schedule, can have lives outside of football and will be able to play in front of sellout crowds at The Rock.

Thanks to the team for all the work and sacrifice and closing out the season by beating the Stink at their shanty and for taking App to 6-0 in bowls.

Not a bad year. Being undefeated in bowl games since we've been allowed to play in them is a nice feather in the hat regardless. Hopefully next year we can keep it up. I think the team really missed having the fans behind them, I bet that would have helped a lot in those close games, especially how KBS has a reputation of being one of the more difficult places for a visiting team to win at.

Of course, two of our three losses were on the road.

Does anyone know why Nate Noel only got 3 carries?

Sorry if it's been asked and answered before.

I know that Earl, Virgil and Noel didn’t return the 2nd half due to injury. I’m not sure exactly what the injuries were though.

Not sure what Noel's issue was. Both others were leg area.

I was listening to the radio call today at work and they mentioned Noel's injury but I can't remember what Pierre or Adam said. I do remember his name being mentioned. I was going to rewind but doing that is not easy in the webpage.

Hampton pursues and tackles really well. The angles the rest of the D takes needs a lot of work. A lot . It’s really just mental , and frustrating.
