Bowl streak

I hadn't seen this mentioned on this board, but I believe with our guy's win in MB and the Stink's win over La Tech in NoLa, App State is in sole possession the nation's longest active bowl winning streak at 6.

Speaking of notable bowl streaks, the beach chickens are 0-1. They also boast a perfect 0-0 record in SBC Championship games. Glad they will always have 2020 to reflect back on as their season in the sun.

They’ve tied Club C-Lit’s bowl record in just their 4th season. They should be proud.

Guys Coastal had an AMAZING season. As a amazing as a season can be with a bowl loss. And they are tough...and should be next year as well.

That being said...I hope we don't make a habit of comparing ourselves to Coastal Carolina. We've won 3 DIAA National titles, 22 conference titles, the 15th best winning percentage in D1 history, 14 10+win seasons and a 6-0 bowl record. "Trashing" coastal does not need to be on our to-do list. We need to respect them and what they've done, but maintain much higher goals than that.

Same when it comes to conference realignment talk. I saw an App fan on another board mention they would "love to have UAB in the Sun Belt."

We need to refocus our goals and dreams as a program.

Coastal was runner-up in the Big South Bowl.

Not totally relevant to the OP here but the Cajuns are celebrating their first ever back-to-back double digit winning seasons with 10 wins this year and 11 last year. I'm too lazy to look it up but I wonder how many back-to-back double digit wins we've had...

Since the transition we have won 10+ games four times. Two separate back to back stretches. They are separated by a 9-4 2017.
