2021 Offense
We all know that we’re loaded on offense next year. WR, RB positions are outrageous. A new QB and a new OC. How do we take advantage and keep everyone happy? Especially on this board!

Re: 2021 Offense
The way our luck has gone lately, don’t think I would call us loaded at RB. Peoples and Noel are great, but peoples already had a significant knee injury. I don’t think Marcus Williams is coming back to App. So that leaves castle and maybe raykwon Anderson, barring a miraculous recovery/comeback from Harrington. We currently don’t have any committed RBs in this class. We have some talent and potential, but we know how quickly injuries pile up

EDIT: he MIGHT be back. If I were to hedge a bet either way, I would put money on him NOT returning.

If you're correct, I'll be rooting hard for this young man. Did everything asked of him and then some. Always a Mountaineer and a personification of TIGMA!AppSt94 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 01, 2021 1:02 pmHe isn’t coming back.NavyApp wrote: ↑Fri Jan 01, 2021 1:01 pmThe Rock wrote: ↑Fri Jan 01, 2021 12:57 pmThe way our luck has gone lately, don’t think I would call us loaded at RB. Re: 2021 Offense
He hasn’t said that he is coming back to App specifically. He will probably play football somewhere next year, but that may or may not be at app. I hope it is at App, he is a very solid back

Re: 2021 Offense
I thought that transfer portal rules were that school had to document kids into the transfer portal within 2 or 3 days of being notified by kid. I have not seen any App St. Kids listed on portal listed on 24/7 website.. Fully realize 24/7 is not the formal portal. I realize that folks may not complete formal process for whatever reason. However if a kid wants to transfer, seems in their best interest to get name on the portal as there may be a school kid has not thought of that has a real need. Personally, I believe 8 is our best running back when not injured. Hope he comes back.

Re: 2021 Offense
The quality at RB is good. The quantity- especially if Marcus isn’t back - is lacking, pending any portal addition. The Rock wrote: ↑Fri Jan 01, 2021 12:57 pmThe way our luck has gone lately, don’t think I would call us loaded at RB. As for WR, we *hope* we’re loaded there. We have a lot of guys people are excited about. But the reality is that when Hennigan and Virgil were hobbled this year, we didn’t have anyone who could step in for them consistently. And Virgil himself has always been more of an occasional big play guy than a consistent producer.
Obviously Sutton returning is huge. Malik is TBD. But my point is, while you’d like to think a couple young guys will break through and a freshman or two can play immediately, until you see it, you just don’t know.
