He reminds me of William Cook back in the 90s. He never met a shot he didn’t like. It provided for some great moments, and also for some other moments.

That’s Eads’ game. He’s known as a good long range shooter....has great form. He just needs time in the system to develop a solid role.

Eades is going to be good , very good. Similar to Gregory, breakout next year.

I’ve been trying to figure Parker’s starring role since he is absolutely no threat to score. Surely someone else at least deserves a try. I think he handles the ball fairly well, but that has been the totality of his contribution IMHO and I know zero about coaching bb!

Re: MBB @ South Alabama Discussion (1/15 7pm & 1/16 5pm)
Didn't get to watch yesterday but based on posts in here and box score we blew a first half lead.
Also based on box score looks like Gregory is the only guy who shot well, and we got out rebounded badly by a team who has been a relatively bad rebounding team this season. Michael Flowers is for real, I knew he would be a problem for us. Having Kendall Lewis back would have been big help in trying to defend him.
Any update on Kendall Lewis? Was it brought up on Mountaineer Talk this past week?

I haven't really seen him bring any value to the team since the NCAA cleared him. He's shooting 17% from the field and 9% from 3.....AdoptedApp wrote: ↑Sat Jan 16, 2021 2:36 pmI’ve been trying to figure Parker’s starring role since he is absolutely no threat to score. 9-9 at the U16 TO
Delph 2-2 from deep, Almonacy hit one as well. Still no answer for Flowers defensively though

17-15 good guys U12
Eads with some early minutes and came in on fire, also made a good defensive stop before the break

Down 22-20, 18 of our 20 points off threes. Given the zone that USA is playing we seemed to be limited to taking 3s.

Halftime down 38-34
Adrian Delph 12 points, the rest of our starting line up ZERO.....
9-20 from deep which is good, shooting over the zone worked for the most part but we need to find some interior scoring. 10 of our 12 field goals were assisted which is also good. Eads and Almonacy provided good minutes and shooting off the bench. We're getting outrebounded by 6 though which isn't ideal

When Parker is on the floor it feels like were playing offense 4 on 5. He doesn't even look to shoot and is never a threat

The women lost by 3 on Friday and then won by 19 today. Gosnell went over 1000 points today. She got to 1000 to close out the game Friday at the buzzer.
This is my very generic signature added to each post.

That's a solid win for the women. USA is one of the better teams on the women's side.McLeansvilleAppFan wrote: ↑Sat Jan 16, 2021 5:59 pmThe women lost by 3 on Friday and then won by 19 today. Gosnell went over 1000 points today. She got to 1000 to close out the game Friday at the buzzer.

I’ll admit I was too harsh on Eads last night. He was hurt his sr. year in HS and will need some to time to get his rhythm and shot back. Has made a solid contribution today.

Scheme or not “shoot and run back down the floor” is frustrating to watch when you’re trying to claw back into a game.
