Tiger is also 9 years older than Hogan was at the time of his crash, and he just had his 5th back surgery. He was already on borrowed time due to his back so this will make it very difficult to come back from.

Nothing in my life has disabled me more than a bad back. I feel for tiger. Watching him grimness in pain in some tournaments made me really get control of it.Years of construction and manual labor will do that. That crash looked awful I hope he heals back 100%.

The LA County High Sheriff said yesterday that the car missed a steel telephone tower by mere inches. He said the car would have been cut in half if it had rolled into the tower. His opinion was that Tiger's life was saved only because the car's passenger compartment withstood multiple violent impacts.
