Kerns' scheme with an actual big inside threat could be really really good. We really had that this year.

I remember watching the first few games thinking "man this is frustrating...move, pop a 3, then get back on D. I wanted them to pound it inside and rebound on the offensive side of the floor. But Kerns has done an incredible job with the roster he's had. I hope he sticks around long enough to build his team exactly the way he wants it.

I had to laugh when I saw that originally. I would have totally tried to negotiate like a 10 million bonus for essentially an impossible task.

I can just imagine the negotiations when those added bonuses were put in. What would the actual payoff for App and the Belt be for a NC? The part that cracked me up was the $10k for winning the conference tournament then $10k for getting an at large bid. Isn’t the bid automatic with the tournament win? Guess they have to be separated.

My interpretation is $10k for conference tourney win (auto bid) while “at large” would be App getting a bid without winning the tourney auto bid. Meaning the SBC would end up being a multi bid league with “auto” and “at large”.
