I just ordered tickets. I got Section 342. Does anyone know which side app will be on? I assumed the home side since we are technically the home team. Sections all over the stadium were coming up from searches on the app site so I assume they are not all app tickets. It showed the tickets are available through ecu mobile no matter where the tickets were located (I tried some on both sides of the stadium).
The entire stadium is the App side. Just bought 12 tickets for my group. Go APP.
I hope you're right, but it won't help that so many people are having a hard time figuring out how to get tickets and that I don't think I've seen any promotions at all from Yosef, the ticket office, or the athletic department.

If we can't get >30,000 App fans there it's an abject failure of our athletic department.
I agree.

I’m not in love with how this game has been treated so far. I get that Clemson/Georgia is the marquee matchup they actually give a shit about. It is what it is.

However the ticket confusion, the relative lack of hype even from us, the TBD game time (Clemson/Georgia kickoff confirmed for 7:30) really has me puzzled. This could be a major moment for App, we have 10,000 App alums in Charlotte alone and it’s an easy trip for folks in Greenville, Atlanta, Columbia and Raleigh.

If App ever wants to play with the big boys it better be able to sell out its own backyard.

I live in the Charlotte area and am very excited for this game but am really confused with what is going on. Does anyone know why we are selling lower level only with the tickets being $90 each, and why you can buy them on ECUs site for $50? I love some App State Football and I know I will catch flack from some for complaining about $90 tickets saying I’m not die hard enough or whatever, but $90 for a Thursday night game is nuts to me. I just wish there was some clarity or explanation for what is going on.

Well we better wake up because the FCS natty/Michigan-era grads are all hitting their mid-30’s and finally not poor. I had 2 close friends go from non-donors to $500+ Yosef club members this year alone.

Obviously keep the old money coming in but hot damn, we have a massive chunk of vibrant App supporters entering financial stability often achieved as you hit 35-ish.

The price points initially offered to current Season Ticket Holders included $50 and $90 price points. Evidently, they scooped up all of the $50 tickets and a good portion of the $90 tickets as well. Perks of being a season ticket holder I guess.

And I hope we meet your number, but I can't see it, regardless of how we promote it. Not with $100 tickets at a neutral site on a weeknight.

I'm guessing total attendance is around 45K.

I would be ok with 45,000 as long as 30,000 are APP Fans. We should negotiate with ESPN+ that they have to run a School type "Yosef Club" awareness with each game. I would think we would get it cheap and anyone watching ESPN+ is probably a really good potential Yosef Club member. We should push for part of our contract with ESPN.

We run ads in every ESPN+ game. If we want to promote the YC, we don't need to negotiate in the contract, we could just do it.

Hate to say it but we don’t have enough season ticket holders to put a dent in that stadium. Not sure what’s going on. What we really needed to do was to offer students the best seats at about $20.00. Put them down front just like we do at the Rock. Should have made that deal with the Thursday night move. I talked to the president of the Charlotte sports association, think that’s right, they set up the game. He called me after I complained to him in an email about the game being moved. Super nice guy. I am hopeful about them hyping the game. They have a dog in the fight. They need our game to succeed.

All I can tell you is that the initial offer to current season ticket holders were $50 and $90. I have had my own issues with how this distribution was handled from the Ticket Office. The people over there are super nice, but they either didn’t have a solid plan or the plan they had was executed poorly. But in looking at the original seat allocation for each school, I would say that it was possible that season ticket holders gobbled up a good amount of seats in the $50 dollar range.

Need to put billboards in areas outside of Boone and Gville to promote it. Both schools support the cost. Interstates around Winston, Greensboro, Raleigh, Charlotte.... or something else outside of just emails, App St Facebook football page, etc.

Bit the bullet and pulled the trigger on two club level seats for $267 total. That is a big expenditure for a Thursday night game but cannot wait especially after the sh#*show of a season last year due to Covid. Hope we can manage to make the Bank look like a home App game but most of all send those purple and yellow boys back home crying

Call the App State ticket office directly. 828-262-2079. The ticket office folks are working remotely so the recording will give you their cell phone numbers. Call one of those cell numbers and they will help you find what you need (Section/price point). Ask about the $50,$90,$100 and $135. Ask if you purchase from them will it help our school more than buying from other sites like ECU, Seatgeek or Ticketmaster. Main thing is we need to support our Apps and we need the cash after last year no attendance home games. See you in BOA. #BeatEZU.

Just purchased 4 tickets @ $50 each for section 230. It says delivery method ECU mobile (I purchased through app). Anyone know what ECU mobile is?

I think it's a AMC Gremlin.
