Most fan message boards have their share of goobers. Most are uneducated. We shouldn't be favored in this game, but comparing us to the 2016 team is a discredit to what we have built. If I'm coach, we watch the film on that day to remember the humiliation.

I hope we show up prepared and ready to play.

I sure hope you and Oddsharks are both right. Miami is pissed and looking to avenge the Alabama blowout. You never want to play a talented team who is coming in mad so I would imagine we will get their best effort. I expect a double digit loss but I hope I am wrong. I think they know they can't afford to overlook us for Michigan State because worst case we are probably about equal to Michigan State this year.

I don’t care what their emotional state is. They need to be more disciplined than they were last week. Too many missed tackles and being pissed off doesn’t offset poor execution. Our guys won’t be intimidated by the environment. App has beaten and hung with better teams and this Miami team has lost to lesser opponents.

They definitely need to be more disciplined. We also need to play better because plays like that TD to the RB where we could not catch him is something that we can't afford to happen even once in Miami. I definitely don't think we will be intimidated and I hope I eat crow on this one. I just don't expect a win but I do think if they make a couple mistakes and somehow overlook us that we could make them pay.

To hit on your last sentence. This Miami team has not lost to lesser opponents. They have only played one game and are not the same team who lost to La Tech. Each year is completely different. Just like we are not the same team who lost 3 games last year or the same team who beat UNC and SC.

These days probably. They are slightly forgotten. Though furple was always annoying and if Elon comes in here and takes out QBs knees like they used to every game against AE then they jump back on the list.
