Tailgating Question

Unread post by gboroapp » Mon Sep 10, 2012 11:53 am

I have a buddy coming up for his first app game next month (wofford). he's from out west, but lives in gboro now and has a daughter looking at going to app next year. he's wanting to get the full tailgating, gameday experience. with that said, any suggestions on best public parking lots for this would be appreciated. when i come up, i usually park at the church on king st and walk to friends tailgates in private lots, so i'm not up on the other lots. thanks for any help.

The social services building on Poplar Grove. I believe there is a shuttle from there. Or, you can try parking in the lots on King Street. Others may be able to provide more info.

Two in fact. They run from the lot, down Bodenheimer, and to the music building. That's usually where I park and it fills up for some of the bigger games. Plenty of tailgating over there too.

Another alternative is to let me know how many are coming, and I'll be sure to have enough food for you. We're in #76 in the stasium lot and love meeting new Appalachian family. The only potential downside (not for me but for some) is that the stiffest drink I serve is sweet tea. We do have lots of fun each week.

If serving is beneath you, then leading is beyond you.
