Let a team shoot 60 % and you most likely lose.Factor in no production from your "go to" players and it's a given. Disappointing outings back to back.

Our schedule doesn’t get any easier either. It’s really not a stretch to see us with one D1 win (ETSU) going into the New Year.

Forgot about Akron tomorrow. Let’s see if we can right the ship.

Won't be easy. Akron has three (3) double-digit scorers and one of those seven-foot freshmen centers from the NBA Global Academy (Senegal) sort-of like the Khalifa kid from UNCC.
We have just one double-digit scorer who's also our leading rebounder. That would be Adrian Delph. It's about time someone stepped up to give him a little help. He can't do everything.

Akron is 0-2 against D1 foes. They lost by 20 to Fordham last night but in their season opener they lost to Ohio State by 1.

I agree, let's get the younger guys minutes during the OOC games to prepare for conference play. Our super seniors are amazing when they are on, but they are also very streaky. Adding depth will be critical down the stretch.

Almonacy looked incredibly tentative in the Charlotte game. From the games I’ve watched he in particular looks like a completely different player from last year. Forrest is who he is. Appears to not be engaged sometimes and other times can take over. That could be a crazy assessment but it’s been my observation.

Stay the course. Hopefully the D picks up and offensive efficiency gets better. Will pull for them no matter how things progress.

Our twitter account didn't post any score updates after the U8 timeout in the second half. Finale score was never posted. How are fans who don't have FloTv access supposed to stay updated. Such a poor look to go dark on social media whenever the team starts losing.

Fan support doesn’t wane because we lose 1 out of conference game. It wanes because some of YOU lack the constitution to stay with this team when something goes wrong.

I know you guys don't want to hear this - but, in reality the scores/W-L/ of these non-conference really don't matter - the SBC games are what count as no one from this conference is getting in the 68 without winning the conference tourney - I agree that some of the other guys should get some quality playing time. These games are in essence glorified exhibition games - What matters is to continue to improve regardless of it is a W or L. Look we all check won-loss records but this team proved last season getting good at the right time is the most important in the SBC

So the answer is this. There was life before twitter and there will be life after twitter. Don't depend on yellow journalism for timely basketball stats of App games. Go to the stat source. Live Stats are available online for every NCAA game played and the site is on permanent auto update mode--refreshing at least every two minutes. It's not the same as a livestream, but it gives you more info about action on the court than twitter will give you in a year--just w/o the twitter pizzazz!ah59396 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 23, 2021 11:12 amOur basketball Twitter account is awfulHurricaneYosef wrote: ↑Tue Nov 23, 2021 9:29 amOur twitter account didn't post any score updates after the U8 timeout in the second half. No, that’s not the answer. I watched the game, I’m not relying on twitter for an update.asu66 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 23, 2021 12:06 pmSo the answer is this. But having a holistic social media strategy is important to our athletic branding. Tweeting out a couple random score updates with no conclusion is Mickey-mouse stuff. Either live tweet it or don’t.
It’s akin to the awful digital media that ULM football creates. Something I don’t think anyone of us wants to be aligned with.
