I agree 100% The problem is that many of those alum are at NCS, Carolina, VT games etc. I have 3 friends who are APP alum and belong to the Hokie club and are season ticket holders. Makes me sad. I know we have a geography problem but there has to be a way for us to get better.scatman77 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 13, 2022 4:08 pmLevels 1-8 = 815 donors or 25% of the YC membership
Levels 9-13 = 2476 donors or 75% of the YC membership
While the top of the line donors are a big boon, it's obvious that the $1000-1499 level and lower are much easier on folks budget, especially if they go the monthly draft route.
Still..............about 135K alumni and only 3291 are YC members? I get that some give to the general fund and that's really great. What about the ones who don't give anything?
What would the YC look like if half that number donated $25/month?
(135,000 / 2) x 12 months x $25 per month = $20,250,000 a year, on top of what's already pledged/donated.
What if $25 per month is too much; what would $10/month look like?
(135,000 / 2) x 12 months x $10 per month = $8,100,000 a year.
If we're going to remain a FBS school, maintain our standards of excellence on the fields and courts, and fully fund our athletic teams the alumni base must accept that with all that comes a financial commitment. As one of my favorite coaches, Coach Jim Brakefield would say: "It's just that damn simple."

We don't slide at Appalachian State. It's a sign of weakness.
