This APP family is flying in to Denver on Monday, the 26th, and working our way to Missoula
through Yellowstone. Flying out of Spokane for the return trip home. Would love to
try fly fishing while in Montana. Any Grizz fans out there that could recommend a good fly fishing
guide in Missoula?

My wife and I are flying out of Greensboro on 08-30-13 with stops in Chicago and Denver before arriving in Missoula at 12:31pm. We'll be staying at the downtown Holiday Inn. After the game we're going to Glacier National Park for three days, then back to Missoula to fly back to Greensboro on 09-05-13. Can't wait to get to Missoula. It's going to be a once in a lifetime experience I hope App Nation covers Missoula in Black and Gold. Forty-seven days, Go App!!!

My wife and I are flying out of Greensboro on the 24th and doing the Jackson Hole/Yellowstone thing before going to Missoula. We're flying out of Spokane on the 2nd. Does anybody have an idea how many App fans are going? We did the room and group thing with the Yosef Club for the Missoula stay.

Does anyone know yet what the TV options are gonna be for those of us unable to make the trip?

I've read MaxMedia, but what is likelihood ESPN3 and/or gameplan picks this up?

For my trip to Montana I have decided to cancel. Our announcement to move up has changed the importance of playing this game with UM. My suggestion now is this game has become insignificant.

To MrsASU re: a fly fishing guide in Missoula: I am a Mountaineer that will be in Missoula all week prior to the game and the best fly shop ( in my opinion) is the Grizzly Hackle. I am booked with Drew Miller, who is the best guide I have ever had out west. He is booked for the week but there are other great guides in that shop. Ask for Brandon for advice.

Tight lines!

I disagree. The lack of postseason makes this game even more important that we support these players. Sorry I won't see you out there.

The montana game and IMO the Western game are the biggest games of the season. Even though we don't have a post season I think the game in Montana still have a lot of meaning to both the players, coaches, and fans. We have never won there.

As for the Western game I think its significant because we will probably retire for the Jug for quite awhile.

Oddly enough, our least important games are the two against the Georgia teams. One, we're not supposed to beat, and the other it's basically a 50/50, given our respective transitions. Any other losses will be treated as FCS over FBS wins, even though they're really not.

I go for the experience, to meet new people, to see new things, but most importantly to be there for the team. These away games offer so much more than just football, although I must admit I'm a "die hard" fan. My son and I went to Ann Arbor just to see App State run onto the field in the Big House. That was it. But, what a surprise, we witness so much more. The UM game may appear to be insignificant to some, but it's an opportunity, and I can't wait to see what that opportunity brings. Go App!

I respectfully disagree....a beautiful state to visit...fantastic stadium with 2nd best fan support in FCS...and a marquee FCS match-up against another traditional powerhouse FCS program!!! Every game this season is important!!! We need to be at least 3-1 in OOC games & I would love to see us go undefeated in SoCon farewell tour...but this will be a challenge!!! This team and these SRs deserve our support!!! I'll be there wearing my Black & Gold proudly while visiting Yellowstone and sipping IPAs in Missoula bars!!! GO 'NEERS!!!

GAS is still my hero for his outstanding work with our COUNTDOWN.
