Yes, but that was a different era. At that point, we needed the P5 games to support the budget. We don't need them any more.

Yes, but that was a different era. At that point, we needed the P5 games to support the budget. We don't need them any more.

If they pay us for the 2nd game in Raleigh...I would take that. Raleigh would be a good place to watch App. If we could have 6 home games and App in Raleigh one year and get paid. Seems like a good year of App Football.

We have played NC State numerous times in Raleigh. The last time, that d##n howling wolf over the sound system about drove my grandson and I batty.

How do we know they don't want to play us? Who is they? The athletic administration, the coaching staff, players, alumni, fans, Wolf Pack Club (or whatever the H they call it)?

I don't know why they played us in the past. I do know they have not played us in 16 years. I have been told by a couple of big money boys over there that they have NO interest in playing us now or ever. They don't need us to fill the Stadium and the possible loss to us would not be something they want to imagine. I like State ok but I see their point.

Forget NC State. We shouldn't have to beg for games. Not scheduling us pretty much says it all. They are dodging us. Same with Duke. Especially since other ACC teams and an SEC team are coming to KBS.

At this point I don’t think it is that they don’t want to play us but rather they don’t want to play us unless it is on their terms, I.e. in Raleigh or a heavily weighted 3/2 for 1 h/h deal.

Truth is we do have more leverage now vs 20-30 yrs ago. We absolutely improve their SOS vs most other OOC opponents.
