Hotel booked. We have not decided on plane or train as mode of transportation. We have never taken a train for overnight travel as it takes a few days to get there. I will book mode of transportation at some point.

I am not actually...my Dad has asked to go to the Texas OU game here in Dallas and its the same day.

I wish I could go TxSt this year. I've been to every game we've played there. Its a nice stadium and the people are great. Its a shame that given the way the SB cross divisional schedule works out we wouldn't come back to San Marcus until the mid 2030's...if we are even in the same conference at that time.

Houston offers two airport options and with United having a hub at Bush, you can probably get a direct flight.

Bush is closer to College Station and is bigger. Hobby us where SW flies into. Austin would maybe be a viable option for the adventurous who would want to take in Austin too, but a little team from Tuscaloosa is in town that weekend.

With the Bama/Texas game set for Noon (to all Bammer and Longhorn fans' chagrin), that gives me hope that our kickoff will be at night. We should know that kickoff within the next two weeks as TV times for the first 3 weeks are starting to trickle out.

I booked a direct roundtrip from RDU to Houston. Of course after I book it, the flight there moves up a few hours to before dawn, but hey I'll miss the Houston traffic. I was told to get to Houston by 4 p.m. if I could to avoid Friday rush hour traffic.

Any new news on the Texas A&M tickets (and other away tickets) in terms of when they will be on sale to YC members? Last I was told (back on 5.13) was that there were no updates and emails would go out to YC members once available. At first, they were hopeful for May, but yet here we are in the last full week of it & I haven't heard of any new developments.

App has historically been quite poor at promoting (or even announcing) away game ticket availability. Sounds like they're still making us work to find that info.

Game times for the first three weeks are going to be announced Thursday, so maybe away tickets will be announced in conjunction with that.
