appreciate the updates...I guess there isn't a place follow the game online, like a gametracker that shows each pitch?

Re: 2022 Baseball Mega Thread
App has stranded 4 in the last 2 innings. We're getting on base. Need it to pop.

Booooo the guy on the broadcast who ripped off our TIGMA and repurposed it for Georgia Southern. Turd.

Re: 2022 Baseball Mega Thread
Just look at the team batting averages for GASO and look at ours….. it is what it is…. When you hit .245 as a team you are going to leave lots of potential runs on the bases….. yesterday we left 10 on base they left 4…… their team BA is like .297…. that’s a gigantic difference. There is lots of room for improvement with hitting and pitching. It would also be nice to have a guy or two who could hit in the 10-15 home run range…

Re: 2022 Baseball Mega Thread
I know, as I was watching some of the tournament games and the numbers of homeruns that some of the guys on other teams had caught my attention. I'm certainly not Anti-Kermit and I've got no problem with another year but a repeat of this season would be unacceptable. If we are going to be in this league that places such an emphasis on baseball, we need to step it up. And, that would mean more than just replacing the coach.AppFan11 wrote: ↑Sat May 28, 2022 9:48 amJust look at the team batting averages for GASO and look at ours….. it is what it is…. Re: 2022 Baseball Mega Thread
For some reason, on stat categories, the Sun Belt only does Top 10 in their lists. Here's the offensive categories for App.
Batting %- 10th
Slugging % - 11th/12th
On Base % - 11th/12th
Runs Scored - 10th
Hits - 10th
RBIs - 10th
Doubles - 10th
Triples - 7th
Home Runs - 11th/12th
Total Bases - 10th
Total Plate Appearances - 10th
At Bats - 8th
Walks - 10th
HBPs - 6th
Strikeouts - 6th
Sac Bunts - 9th
Sac Flys - 5th
Stolen Bases - 10th
Caught Stealing - 10th
Steal Attempts - 10th
Grounded Into DP - 8th
Fielding numbers were decent and pitching wasn't so great.

Re: 2022 Baseball Mega Thread
I am not making a statement about Kermit….. just the performance numbers of the team. Things are what they are…. If you have a single/doubles team…. that is what you are…. you have make the deficiency up in other places, ie… stealing bases, being a good bunting team, better pitching and fielding. If you do not have those abilities then you leave too many people on base and don’t score enough runs to win games… it seems that’s where we are this season.

Watching the tournament games across the country, envious of the quality of these teams.ODU and SMiss will make the league much tougher.

Re: 2022 Baseball Mega Thread
I am but a humble fan and radio show host. I don’t have the answers. I only have opinions and observations. It’s clear this staff doesn’t have what it takes to get it done. Every time I’ve suggested wiping the slate clean I’m bombarded by the excuse peddlers and Kermit Smith apologists. If it means giving Kermit 1 more season and overhauling his support staff…that’d be a place to start.
