I appreciate the details, but no dice. I've got nothing there. I just shot them an email checking in.

Re: Football Parking 2022
Can someone on here make this make sense?? Or lead me to the right contact to call/email?
For those who haven't seen my ramblings on here, I was given Legends lot last year. I'm going to give a call tomorrow after I've cooled off a bit, but I once again got Legends lot. This was after filling out their parking request form very articulately saying I did not want Legends lot again.
My current ranking is 966 out of 6432, I've donated above the Golden Mountaineer ($1500) level for 2 years now and was at the $500 level the first year I was a member in 2020.
I truly feel like I'm wasting my time filling out their forms and comments on the ordering pages because they are clearly not being read. I wouldn't say I'm a giant donor by any means but this is incredibly frustrating to feel like they legitimately don't care about you unless you're a 5 figure donor.

Re: Football Parking 2022
Sorry to hear that. They don't even have me in the system for some reason, but I'm a lot lower than you. No need to apologize, if I could donate that much I'd be upset too. If you have their ear, just tell them to make it easy they can put me down for your Legends spot after they bump you up to your correct location.ArmantiWaterSafety wrote: ↑Wed Aug 03, 2022 8:45 amCan someone on here make this make sense??

WOW - "We have completed our 2022 Football parking allocation for the upcoming season. Unfortunately, we were not able to provide your account a 2022 football season parking permit. Unfortunately, over 500 accounts will not receive a season parking pass. Parking space continues to be a challenge, but some relief is coming in the near future." WOW, that's all I can say. I'm 2534 out of 6432. How is that bad? I'm in shock.

Re: Football Parking 2022
Didn't get parking either. This is super frustrating. I contributed at a level to get parking!!!!! And I am at 1800 out of 6432. This is bad and they want us to contribute more?

Re: Football Parking 2022
I have had parking for years on the Rivers street deck roof. This year parking says
Lot RR Row 2 Seat 29 so I am confused now, but at least I have parking.

Wow.....once again, communication ball is dropped. At least as far as I know, there was nothing said about not having enough parking for season ticket holders who donated enough to get parking.saxyappy wrote: ↑Wed Aug 03, 2022 9:01 amWOW - "We have completed our 2022 Football parking allocation for the upcoming season. Re: Football Parking 2022
I park on Library Deck Roof and have a similar non-sensical row and seat assignment as well. Previous years has been first come first serve. Wonder if they have assigned actual spaces in these decks?

Re: Football Parking 2022
I'm guessing RR means Rivers Roof but yeah, mine says a specific row and seat too, but considering the legends are festival parking spots, I'm guessing they just had to put a seat and a row for the system.

Re: Football Parking 2022
It stinks, but how would they know? I don't think parking is ever guaranteed. Season tickets sold out this year and Yosef club memberships have increased. It is weird thought that, evidently, enough new members joined at a high enough level to bump others out.

Re: Football Parking 2022
That's nuts. How high did you have to be to get a pass? Why claim we get one if we donate at a certain level?

Re: Football Parking 2022
I get the frustration. Last year I asked for Library Roof. The donor level to get that spot is $500+. I gave more than enough to push someone out but got put somewhere else. My advice is to send an email to Doug Banks and cc Chase Cross on it and let them know how you feel. I don’t know that there is much you can do for this year, but I would definitely express my expectations on where to move you when parking gets better. Good luck.ArmantiWaterSafety wrote: ↑Wed Aug 03, 2022 8:45 amCan someone on here make this make sense?? Or lead me to the right contact to call/email?

Re: Football Parking 2022
While I'm not at the same giving level as you. I increased my giving and met in person with a staff member to make sure that our group of season ticket holders was linked back together. I was bumped to Legends three seasons ago and cannot get back to the Library Parking Deck no matter what action I take.ArmantiWaterSafety wrote: ↑Wed Aug 03, 2022 8:45 amCan someone on here make this make sense?? (On the flip side, I have a spot) DG or someone needs to get creative for the 500 who didn't get parking. Sure it might require buses, but strike a deal with the Community College, Boone Mall, Beaver Field, the Mack, etc to allow a parking and tailgating lot for our Season Ticket holders.
Don't push season tickets if you are unable to accommodate parking for those who make the pledge.
Game days should be a fun, relaxing day in Boone amping up to the game. Instead, we have 500 who will have to pay out of pocket for a spot or sweat out parking on a weekly basis. (It could even be an opportunity for a local business to step up an offer spaces).
The season opener is going to be an absolute cluster with the parking uncertainty and the early kickoff/late arrivals up the mountain.

Re: Football Parking 2022
I have been in Rivers Street Deck for years. My parking says Lot: RD. Row 7, Seat 16. I assume that RD means Rivers Street Deck and Your Lot RR means Rivers Street Roof. AS far as the Row and Seat numbers I don't have a clue.

Re: Football Parking 2022
FYI the policy at App State for parking does not give you the ability to push someone out of an existing spot even if you give me. If I have a spot in Duncan and have had that spot for 10 years and give at the minimum level. No one can come in and bump me from my spot. They give priority to existing members.
